Re: Artur Beterbiev vs. Anthony Yarde | ESPN - January 28, 2023

Beterbiev is 38 yo.
He has to decline sooner or later later.
Maybe that's the fight his age is gonna show and we actually see him in danger.

Re: Stephen Fulton vs. Naoya Inoue - Spring 2023

Great fight. Didn't see that coming at all.
For Inoue to go up in weight and figh the top dog after starting his career at Light-Fly is crazy.
Money is on Inoue, but it's gonna be his toughest fight for sure.

If us boxing Fans learned something in the last years, it's that "a done deal" doesn't mean shit.

I'm okay with the Rolly fight actually, but stuff like that is hurting the sport in the long run.

Re: Gervonta Davis vs. Ryan Garcia | PPV - April 15, 2023

The 136 pound catchweight is Tank or Tank's management way of saying they're a little scared Garcia might take his title. Can't lose what you don't have :maybe: I don't think they wanna fight Garcia at 140. Davis doesn't look at 135 what he looked like at 130 and he definitely doesn't look at 140 w...

Re: Jermell Charlo vs. Tim Tszyu | Showtime - Postponed

That was his first fight after his dad passed away.
I could see that being (part of) the reason.
In his next fight he dominated the guy who arguably beat Fundora.

Maybe I'm underestimating Tim, but it's gonna be a competetive fight for sure.
Hopefully it get's made.

What do you mean? EJ is already the super duper champ.
But they should definitely make EJ fight the winner of this fight.
They need to stop this regular belt nonsense.

could be franco fanbois running the score up for him, the boxrec card's now 114.25-113.75, so essentially a draw Yeah, you are probaly right. I just watched the fight and it was pretty even. Franco was busier, but a draw is totally fine. People nowadays don't know what a robbery is or don't know an...

Damn, I missed the fight. I didn't expect it to be that early.

Was it really that competetive? I didn't expect anything but a win for Ioka, but currently with the 3 scorecards on boxrec from the Fans it's 119:109 for Franco, which is hard to believe.
The first scorecard was also a draw.

Davis may be a jerk, but I don't think he is a liar.
When he speaks, and I'm able to understand what he is saying, it always feels like he is being brutally honest and just says what is on his mind.
That's why I believe him.

Still a jerk though.

Re: Do you think Tim Tszyu will ever be anything?

I'm not really convinced by Tszyu nor by Fundora.
I don't think they could ever beat someone like Charlo, but they could pick up a title after he vacates.
They should hope they don't have to fight Harrison or Castano for those titles though.

Re: Anthony Yarde Chin ... Rank It

Can't be anymore than a 6 out of 10. Why? Because he got KO'd by one of the hardest hitting LHWs of the last 30 years? And even then he sustained a massive amount of damage before the KO. The KO wasn't even because of the damage, but from exhaustion. We don't really know how good his chin really is...

Boxers and promoters are b1tches. They all think, that the biggest success will be when you are an abc champion and/or have a clean record. That's why we see so many championship mismatches, abou which only a small group of fans care. Good fighters try to sell themselves out, when there's a risk to...

Re: Montana Love vs. Stevie Spark | DAZN - November 12, 2022

Love obviously sucks and he's just another Broner, but the stoppage was bad because it was a DQ without any point deductions before, while the foul wasn't severe, since Spark didn't receive any damage. Let's not compare him to a 4-divison-champion, because Love will never even come close to this ac...

Re: year end awards

I also expected Bivol to win, atleast inofficially. I expected him to get robbed, though. The thing at that time was: Canelos chin is too good for a boxer like Bivol to knock him out. And with those corrupt judges there was almost no way he could lose by decision. And I don't think many people belie...
