Re: Chris Eubank Jr. vs. Conor Benn | DAZN PPV - 8 October 2022
Renegotiate the hydration clause. Hope Eubank absolutely mullers him. See my post above. I fully expect Eubanks will have done this. I don't even think he'll try and make weight now and the scale readings will be bogus. Robert Smith should order the fight to not go ahead but he is likely to weak of...

Re: Chris Eubank Jr. vs. Conor Benn | DAZN PPV - 8 October 2022
Wonder what DAZN will make of this. Interestingly, the statement does not say the fight will go ahead. Well observed. They will see what the media and public reaction to the news is before nailing their colours to the cross. The fight may still not happen. It shouldn't happen because anybody who kn...

Re: Chris Eubank Jr. vs. Conor Benn | DAZN PPV - 8 October 2022
What makes me laugh is some idiot on TalkSport is now saying it's not a performance enhancing drug. Anyone who googles Clomid and steroids will find out instantly exactly what it's used for. :brick: The arrogance to try and blag their way through this is breathtaking. :TU: Keep it up, mate, you are...

Re: Connor Benn fails drug test!
Kalle Sauerland just been on Talksport and there's no concern shown for the image of boxing and the damage done if this fight goes ahead. Any older forum members hear the Matchroom statement continually referring to Mr Benn. Couldn't help thinking of the children's programme from yesteryear. That's...

Re: Chris Eubank Jr. vs. Conor Benn | DAZN PPV - 8 October 2022
It’s a wacky novelty fight, anything goes! including drugs!! Are there many people on here who didn’t really think Benn was on the gear? ( like his dad oh sorry did I really say that ) It doesn’t change my view of the fight: it shouldn’t be happening but it’s like a car crash, you can’t look away.....

Re: Chris Eubank Jr. vs. Conor Benn | DAZN PPV - 8 October 2022
So he's done a gear cycle. Taken Clomid as Post Cycle Therapy to help rebuild his natural Test levels. Now they're going to say it's an old/invalid test because when he was re-tested it had cleared his system so he tested negative. It's absolutely shameless steroid usage. They think we're all mugs....

It shouldn't go ahead however much money is on the line. Boxing will sign its own death warrant as a serious sport if this is somehow overlooked.

Re: Hughie Fury vs. Michael Hunter | Sky Sports - 29 October 2022
Postponed again. Hughie has an infection. Bad news for both men if true. Hughie (as usual) will get grief here but he shouldn't. He has obviously got ongoing health problems. I hope he can get over them and reignite his stagnating career. Hunter should be allowed to move onwards and upwards. Should...

If Labour can get young people to the polling stations they will win easily. Way easier said than done.

Re: All womans boxing card October 15th good or bad idea? (R.I.P Queen)
Op London Bridge has been planned for and amended over the decades. Broadcasters have rehearsed and pre-booked OB production companies years ahead. Pomp and circumstance live and in years to come by way of documentaries with contemporaneous footage is huge on the global market and for GB PLC in pro...

Re: All womans boxing card October 15th good or bad idea? (R.I.P Queen)
In some regards it would be preferable if the broadcasters could just be honest about the reason for the postponements but stating "the money we'll earn by producing live OB programmes relating to the Queen's death and King's appointment will earn us a fortune" doesn't strike the right to...

Re: All womans boxing card October 15th good or bad idea? (R.I.P Queen)
It's not a horrible call but it's not about respect either. It's basic logistics but this won't be stated publicly. Outside broadcasting equipment and expertise is required by all the major broadcasters for obvious reasons, so too police. Hence football and boxing being canned for the time being. p....

Re: Getting rid of ALL boxing on TV / Stream.
I don't have any. I listen to fights on the radio, or wait until they appear for free online in the days following. I go to amateur shows in person. If people hadn't bought PPV in the first place I think we'd have a lot more boxing to watch than we do now. People who buy PPV are killing boxing IMO.

Because Tyson, for all his ability and he has lots, a top boxer no doubt, is insufferable. I've had enough of him. Usyk is likeable and exceptional.

Haye was very good. It's well known his body was broken down quite badly. Some even questioned his and Adam's training practices for their suitability to a long term career.

One of the many. It’s also a method used to absolve ones self of all personal responsibility.
