Re: Round-by-Round: Vasyl Lomachenko vs. Luke Campbell - 31 August 2019

Body, dick, back of head. Dream combo. ref was right on the spot. :maybe: https://twitter.com/IzquierdazoBox/status/1167880809329487873 Yea but no way he has the balls to DQ a rising prospect. To be fair I'm not sure it was dick but his shorts shook and he side didn't from the behind angle, also I ...

Re: Hughie Fury vs. Alexander Povetkin - 31 August 2019

2 of the bookies on odds check have Hughie in round 2 as low as 41/13... That's nearly the same as just Hughie fury to win anyway. You can get the same odds betting on Hughie by stoppage at any point in the fight.
Don't understand what's happening there.

I'd slightly favorites Canelo to get it done. But one of the betting sights was giving +450 on kov witch I think is a bit much.

Re: Chisora v Parker. 26 Oct

Parker wasn't happy with an 8 week camp for Whyte and now he is going to get an 8 week camp for Chisora? Not great if it's true.
Love the fight but I'd prefer them both to get a nice long camp to see the best version of both.

Re: PORTER ADMITS HE PLANS TO FIGHT DIRTY AGAINST ERROL SPENCE!!

If he has Spence dodging heafbuts in sparring then he has done well, the more Spence is watching to dodge a forehead theless he is looking at throwing or dodging a punch.
If I was porter I'd be fainting heafbuts.

Re: Top 50 countries in boxing ranking

Interesting list, top 20 counted is probly a good number but it would be interesting to see how the list changes with top 10 or top 5. Help the smaller boxing nations I imagine. Such as Cuba and nz I imagine each country has most of its people coming from predominantly a weight range i.e thaland wou...

Re: MTK Global unveil new ‘Golden Contract’ tournament

I like the idea of the tournament other than the one weeks notice for opponent. I think highish levle pro bouts should always give 8 as much notice as possible. Also this format favours the minority stance fighter in the tournament. If there are 7 orthodox and 1 southpaw for example then the southpa...

Re: BoxRec Forum HW TOP 15 voting - Kownacki vs Arreola

I'm normally against going down if you win. But a a combo of how much he got hit and how little he couldnt hurt an old weathered arreola is pretty poor. I'd rate Rivas loss alot higher than kownakis win performance wise.
- I think kownacki down to 13.

Re: Povetkin vs Hughie fury

I feel this is a 50-50 providing pov is clean. Had it been a year ago I'd favour pov. If it was in a year I'd favour Hughie. But I think this is true crossover time in there careers where it is kinda hard to pic. I would of rathered hgrovic, or usyk get a crack at fading pov before he is done, but I...

Re: Tyson Fury v Charles Martin

This is poor. Considering fury is probably the number 1 heavyweight right now vsing someone who's Career best performance was a close loss to kownaki is disappointing. If Top Rank are paying Fury 10m+ for this fair play to Fury - another cherry picked walkover without much risk. Oh I mean it's not ...

The younger fighters are waiting for the older fighters to safety fade away and then take their chances. lol. These guys fight at similar weight classes and they should fight each other. It's sad that us, the boxing fans we are private of a deep hot 126/130 lbs division with top notch fights....

Re: Spot check on Gervonta Davis ... potential ?

Great potential, but poorly matched. If your going to fight easy fights to develop you have to do it more often. If he was fighting this levle 5 times a year I'd be fine with it. But twice a year you need some stiffer competition. 4 rounds in 2 years isn't much learning time. Still think he could pr...

I'd like to see this run continue and Allen to stay motivated. Price next I think that's one of the more interesting matxhups at heavyweight. Then Mabey char for a communal "world title". If he Beats them he kinda has to fight Someone ranked or a name/ex name. Or skip that and fill in vs a...

Re: Oleksandr Usyk vs. Carlos Takam - May 18, 2019

I am a bit disappointed but only because I was so keen for usyk vs pov. If he has put on some size it would make sense for usyk to fight a tough midrange guy like takem first. Learn how going up weight effects stamina and speed. If this is on the same night as POV and both usyk and POV get good wins...

Hope this happens, and irealy rate pov, but i hope usyk wins quite easily, because this could incise some of they other top cruisers to move up. Just being unrealistically optimistic what if, Wilder fights whyte, Breazeal Fights parker, and fury fights ortiz. I can live with that. I don't really understand the excitement around Fury v Parker. Parker has demonstrated that he is nothing more than a B level fighter, and whenever he steps up he...

Joyce may have just set himself in a decent little spot here and i cant see him risking it with a breazeal fight. just won WBA gold, which will give him a shot a WBA reg, Witch he should win. With that he should be able to make some low risk defenses against some shit opposition and sell it to casua...

How sad. Just 7 fights and the drumbeat has started for a heavyweight title fight. Leon Spinks syndrome. Take that comment with a huge grain of salt. His handlers know better. (at least I hope so). tough question, honestly noone has cleared out any division and remained in it. Id have to go with loma or callam smith. i first thought of not counting loma cause i feel he needed the mikey garcia win, but i dont think mikeys ever going back to 135, so yea id say loma 135 or smith 168 most dominant...
