Re: Lindsay v Simpson 27th November
Lindsay will win - Simpson has lost 6 times now. Simpson has a good brawling style but it never seems to impress the judges although it might not even get that far this time.

Re: Next up for McCloskey
McCloskey is well avoided through no fault of his own - no one at world level sees much money to be made fighting him and also he has great ability and is hard to hit.
It's a real shame but he has to keep plugging away and Im sure he'll get his chance eventually.

Alex is still the best fighter in Scotland for sure - he has the pedigree and has fought consistently at a high level for 10 + years.
Burns is a flash in the pan at the moment and still has a lot to prove.

Frankie
Interesting to say you would like Daws - I think you'd have his no to be fair.
I guess the top guy in your division in Britain is Paul McCloskey - another top amateur who has taken his time and got to the top - I would love to see you and him fight sometime in the future.
Cheers

Re: Calzaghe's recuperative powers
Yep Calzaghe could take a shot up there with the best of him - you can't go so long undefeated in that game without being able to take shots well.
Fair play to Joe he sure could take shots - maybe towards the end though his ability to take a shot was dwindling (Hopkins and Jones both has him down).
