It's possible Blackwell asked not to make a show of the donation, or even turned it down too.

Haye is giving a person he hardly know, who has just lost his career and almost his life, £50,000.

Anyone who thinks there is anything wrong with Haye for doing so, needs a slap and a hard one at that.

Yeah, I mean Christ, what's the geezer got to do to get a break, knocking over patsies is one thing, but acts of generosity, that shouldn't be drawing him any flak, and I'm pretty certain he wouldn't have lied about it, what would be the point.
