Both SKY and BN are lacking at the moment, I'm not sure why BN can't put on a show every week instead of loading cards like the Fury bill

I see on the allegedly website that they are showing a Samvy Vasquez fight on 20th Feb. Dont know much bout him, but I see his recently signed with Al Haymon. Maybe a promising sign that B*allegedly will be showing the Premier Boxing shows?

Hardly justifies having a dedicated, 1 sport, subscription channel, particularly when he isn't bringing in the big international shows either.

I agree with this. There's been overseas shows during the frequent weekends when the channel has zero live boxing on. They bank the subs but have given us little in return. Yes, the line up for March is better but it is an undeniably poor start to the year.

I understand that, but I get my football fix from my season ticket & I couldn't give a toss about golf, F1, tennis, rugby or any other of the sports my Sky subscription funds. Essentially, I'm spending 20 quid a month for the privilege of watching boxing on Sky Sports (with the added bonus of PPV for any 'big' fight of their choosing) & 12 quid a month for the privilege of watching boxing on B0xnati0n. Over the last 2 or 3 years, there's absolutely no doubt which has been better value for me. So I can forgive them for a dry couple of months, particularly when there's been fvck all boxing for them to show anyway.

I at no stage say anything about "major" shows, I simply said that a boxing channel should be showing boxing.The only reason this doesn't happen is because it would mean an extra expense for B0xnati0n, but when fans are shelling out for a monthly subscription there is no excuse for not having a show on.

If there's no big names fighting & Fwank doesn't have a show on himself then get a small hall show on (whether domestic or international there is always a fight card on somewhere), gives a chance for some unknowns to get in the spotlight & also means you're filling the brief of a channel supposed to be dedicated to boxing.

But Fwanks £12 is just for boxing. That's it & the point is he should be providing more for that subscription.
What you pay for Sky gives you access to many other sports, if you choose not to watch them that is down to you.

There's hardly been any small hall shows on either and none worthy of TV coverage, the only one that they could have possibly picked up was the Mickey Helliet show with Dillian Whyte topping the bill, but that was only an 8 rounder and the rest of the show was filled with prospect vs Latvian, not the sort of small hall show that's ever going to be considered for TV coverage. The cost of broadcasting something like that just isn't worth it, especially when hardly anyone would watch it.

The best small hall show I've seen in ages was a Steve Goodwin bill; very competitive bouts and capable boxers - the Goodwin shows ought to be widely shown - their team could learn some of the bigger names a thing or 2.

I'm not sure where the Goodwin cards are shown and I am a fan, if a casual fan were to catch one of these good cards it'd be by accident. The viewing is getting too complicated or I'm getting old.

Are the Goodwin shows worth being televised though? You'd have people complaining about no boxing and people complaining about 12 fights of shit boxing.

I'd rather see Frank run one domestic card per month at a good standard than try to crowbar two or three in with local ticket selling geezers beating Latvians for four rounds.

there is no really top class fights coming up
I have both channels and will remain having both channels but the cards and fights should be better

next week on channel five is a class card and better than any sky or frankie card so far this year
