Does anyone know if we have any active mods or admins on the board.

I've often wondered about the lack of policing on trolling and abuse (not that this board is as guilty as a couple others) that goes on routinely. Some of the slagging matches that pass as discussion on here are unreal.

But I've recently requested to have threads moved, one within the thread itself and one as a pm to a member listed as mod and I've had no feedback.


Is this a lawless town? Do we need a new sherriff?

Palooka was doing his gestapo for a bit but I've not seen him on in a good while. Hope all is well

I thought Donald Trump was running this board for a while

I only signed up to view boxrec when it was shut off to the public. When I saw it had the advantage of talking with other boxing fans I thought "result".

There's little things I like to talk about here and there that I can't talk about with my friends cause they're not arsed.

It's internet culture and the gradual decline in intelligence. In the early 2000s, when there was only Current Scene and Boxers of the Past, the former was a daily symposium of civil, comical, interesting and enlightening debate. Now it's all wrestling style trash talk. Because J. Shep is so liberal, Boxrec never stood a chance once the rabble learned of its existence!
