Prizefighter - Drinks Beforehand
Right, just got me a ticket.
Doors open at eight, but I can be in the area from whenever, so when is everyone else getting there, and where is the best pub to plot up in?
The Approach Tavern is on approach road, kind of behind the venue, or there are others on Old Ford Road, or the Shakespeare is just near Bethnal Green Tube

Does anyone know if York Hall has a bar? Surely it does?MatthewS wrote:well thats the drink fcuked then, unless we can get a bevy inside the gaff - ive not been to YH beforeEmerson Poncey Name Ghent wrote:I'm meeting Dirk at Bank at 7.30, so I reckon we'll be there by 8. The tournament doesn't start until 9.30 so not sure what they're putting on before hand to keep us amused.
I was hoping for a Julius Francis belly dance.
are you in the unreserved section as well? might as well plot up with people we (half) know.... i reckon it will fill up quick, so might want to get in and sort some seats out straight away?Emerson Poncey Name Ghent wrote:Does anyone know if York Hall has a bar? Well shall we say for those of us who live/work in London, or who are getting up there early - the Shakespeare pub near the stattion, from about 6? then over the road to York Hall for 8? or if we arent bothered abut sitting up the front, we can mooch over there about quarter to 9?Dioufy wrote:I might be going. If it's alright I wouldn't mind seeing a few of you for a laugh.

Not going tomorrow myself but IMO the Approach Tavern is by far the best pub in Bethnal Green, 5 mins walk

We have the £30 tickets, so as Matthew said it appears to be sit where you like, we can all sit together singing "Row row row your boat" and giving each other high five's.
good laugh then a night in Southampton is it?
