Just thinking did anyone else see Takaloo on Britains Hardest on Sky One on Monday night?

I got the impression he wasn't taking it that seriously.

Anyone know when this was filmed? In the introduction Takaloo was introduced as a roofer who was thinking of turning Pro. I assume this was just poor presentation on Sky's behalf.

Jim McDonnell was referred to as Jimmy O'Donnell by Steve McFadden, alias Phil Mitchell. I turned over at that point.

He got to the last three I think, lost to some Thia Boxer in a car steering wheel, tug of war type thing.

Didn't seem too bothered that he lost.

In all seriousness though, the ref type guy, Ian Freeman, obviously has been around the block a bit, but I think he was announced as Ultimate Fighting World Champion?...Does anyone know any more about this guy, and what forms of martial fighting he studies?

"Two ton of mota on a flat bed" - I haven't seen the show but my mate swears by it, reckons its the best/funniest thing on TV.

Ian Freeman is probably the countries premier mixed martial arts fighter. He is a Vale Tudo (anything goes) fighter and has studied, various arts including ju jitsu, thai boxing, boxing and wrestling. He has never won the UFC title, but has competed in the states regularly and is a genuine hard ba5tard. He is from the North East, Sunderland I think.

Ian Freeman has retired now I think although he is a hard fornicator....Most of the fellas I have seen so far on that Hard bastards are a bloody joke to be honest and the tests they have to do prove nothing about being hard...show is a load of shit.

Terrible program, I remember catching one of them by accident and the guys had to break through a series of doors. One who was barely bigger than the average man on the street couldnt even break the first door, hardly made a dent in it! And he was posh.
