Many thanks to those at BoxRec who have compiled the greatest data base of boxing records past and present on earth.

I grew up in a boxing family. I looked at the Ring Record Books as a teenager. Thanks to BoxRec I am able to look up the records of many past fighters from my small hometown in Ohio. My dad, older brother and I were amatuer boxers. I also had some pro fights. I am now able to pull up the boxing records of two hometown fighters who trained me as a kid. BoxRec has three fights each for them that Ring Record Book did not have listed. I'm able to look up records of many old time fighters that my father and I knew. Many thanks!
