Any comments, criticisms or P4P lists are very welcome.
Re: British Top 30 P4P September 2008
Yeh, Bernard Dunne isn't British and while officially, Duddy is... I don't think he'd be happy in that list either.

Re: British Top 30 P4P September 2008
I said the exact same thing last month and was told that Irish boxers were allowed I then asked would he rename it to british and Irish and he said he wouldnt.NaFianna wrote:Yeh, Bernard Dunne isn't British and while officially, Duddy is... I don't think he'd be happy in that list either.
I think you should do one or the other tbh horse.
Re: British Top 30 P4P September 2008
Absolutely... listen... you're either British or your not. Dunne is not British- he can't be on the list!metropol wrote:I said the exact same thing last month and was told that Irish boxers were allowed I then asked would he rename it to british and Irish and he said he wouldnt.NaFianna wrote:Yeh, Bernard Dunne isn't British and while officially, Duddy is... About time Scott Harrison was left off.
Re: British Top 30 P4P September 2008
Just wondering if you included Barker based on the fact that you couldn't really change the list in August so felt obliged to make one change.
Re: British Top 30 P4P September 2008
Barker top 15. put Enzo 6th ahead of Arthur and Froch as he's beaten higher level of opposition(excluding Bobby Gunn of course)

Re: British Top 30 P4P September 2008
Seeing as Duddy does not hold British citizenship(and never has done) and was born outside Britain I think you can resoundingly say he is not British. The only place which officially' reports him as British is this site.NaFianna wrote:Yeh, Bernard Dunne isn't British and while officially, Duddy is... I don't think he'd be happy in that list either.
I have to agree with earlier comments, either it's a British and Irish list or just British and should be named accordingly.

we cant have British and Irish on an British Forum - they should just be deleted
Re: British Top 30 P4P September 2008
You telling me John Murray is NOT among the 30 best fighters in Britain? Suppose he is only an unbeaten British champion who is consistently calling out Khan and who put in a career best shift in his last fight.

Re: British Top 30 P4P September 2008
Duddy is placed quite highly, so maybe he would be happy with it.NaFianna wrote:Yeh, Bernard Dunne isn't British and while officially, Duddy is... I don't think he'd be happy in that list either.

I think there is a third way.metropol wrote:I said the exact same thing last month and was told that Irish boxers were allowed I then asked would he rename it to british and Irish and he said he wouldnt.

Yet he is.NaFianna wrote:Absolutely... listen... you're either British or your not. Dunne is not British- he can't be on the list!
Re: British Top 30 P4P September 2008
horse dont be arsey about it just be reasonable and take him off . The person who was saying get off the forum , I dont know whether your joking or not, I think your joking, but if your serious take a look at the amot of threads that are not about british
Re: British Top 30 P4P September 2008
Rogan has a lot more to prove before he gets a place in the top 30. So far I don't think he has beaten a top 10 ranked British heavyweight.1southpaw wrote:what about martin rogan he's done well over the last 6 months

Probably, I still hope he comes back though.DG. wrote:About time Scott Harrison was left off.
Re: British Top 30 P4P September 2008
Sure if he's gonna put Irish in the top Brit fighters, he might as well put Mexicans and Americans in there too- you might be able to fill a top 50 or top 100 that way ;)metropol wrote:horse dont be arsey about it just be reasonable and take him off . Re: British Top 30 P4P September 2008
Or if he kept it at top 30 there might not be many brits in it at all.NaFianna wrote:Sure if he's gonna put Irish in the top Brit fighters, he might as well put Mexicans and Americans in there too- you might be able to fill a top 50 or top 100 that way ;)metropol wrote:horse dont be arsey about it just be reasonable and take him off . Re: British Top 30 P4P September 2008
I took Scott Harrison out this month, so that would have been a change.stujones wrote:Just wondering if you included Barker based on the fact that you couldn't really change the list in August so felt obliged to make one change.
Barker entered the list because I think he is a better choice than the alternatives. The fact that he boxed this month, and can enter higher than position No. 30, is just a bonus.
