Even if he has another 15 fights he wouldnt last 3 rounds with Cameron. Cameron is in a diffrent class to Hoppa and would KO him easily.
Hoppa was hurt a couple of times by Mirovic and if Bob was a few years younger he would have KOd Hoppa when he had the chance.
That's sorta wat I was thinking, but as it is I don't think Camerons going anywhere for a while, so the fight might happen one day anyway
Could be a good way for Cameron to make some money. Id like to see Cameron Vs Meehan to see who is the best from this region.

You and me both buddy, personally I've got Meehan over the distance or a late KO - too slick and well schooled for Cameron at the moment.

meehan would toy with cameron.

different class of fighters.

meehan has a winning chance against at least one of the current heavies, where as you couldn't back cameron with somebodies elses money.

but cameron may make an impact in the future.

Personally I like Cameron - he's bringing alot of attention back to boxing in NZ which is great - he may be able to win a version of the belt some day, but only if he's very carefully matched and makes a few leaps and bounds defensivley.
But agree re him and Kali, Cameron doesn't seem to have one punch KO power, and I cant see him landing often enough cleanly to wear Kali down

Cameron will always hold a special place with me after his KO of Mirovic.

yes it would be fantastic for any of the aussie or nz guys to win a heavyweight belt in the next few years. i wouldn't care which one of them achieved it.

cameron is in the same category( maybe not class exactly) as de mori, tupou, haumono and even hoppa really that they are probably yet to reach their potential. and who knows how far they can go. most of these guys have tremendous power and that is a big plus in the heavyweight division.
people have been saying for the last couple of years that these current heavyweight champs are hardly special. not saying i'd put my house on it happening though.

ps. marlin, i was there that night but had my back to the ring watching a ripper of a fight in the crowd but oh christ! you could hear the thud and i turned around to see big bob having a nap on the canvas.
