Hamed had his moment in the sun when he climbed off the canvas a few times against Kelley, but Camacho takes the chocolates, almost by virtue of having simply faced much sterner, tough opposition. To an extent, we saw what Hamed was made of after he was exposed by Barrera.

Meldrick Taylor or Fernando Vargas (Both of them had underrated durability at their short peaks, IMO.)

B-Hop. Even at his advanced age, he's still never even been close to being stopped.

Armstrong, simply by virtue of having crossed divisions like few others have, in terms of success. Excellent match-up, though. Two exceedingly hard bastards :TU:

Tough call. I think Margarito will prove to have him, given enough time. The man is simply extraordinary.

Arguello tougher, like with many on this thread, largely because his style meant he had to take more shots and prove himself as such.

umm.....

Lewis, IMO. Fought everyone out there, eventually, and never fought a man he didnt beat (first or second go lol)

Hopkins or LaMotta?

Lewis tougher than Holmes? If you weren't British, they'd lock you up for that manner of lunacy :DD

Old-time fighters deserve the benefit of the doubt in these arguments. LaMotta over Hopkins.

Jeffries or Marciano?

I am British, and a big fan of Lennox. But in no way was he tougher than Larry Holmes, who had a superb chin. Holmes would have got knocked down by the punches that knocked out Lewis, difference is he would have got back up and gone on to win.

Revived!

Marciano gets the benefit of the doubt. His constant disadvantages in size --- along with Jeffries' constant advantages in size ---just shade Jeffries' more adverse fighting conditions, such as light gloves, longer rounds, midday-scorchers, etc.

Vernon Forrest or Shane Mosley?
