What has happened to the boxing value of an Aussie title these days, junior middleweight boxer king davidson is in line to fight for this title yet no one in Australia will fight him including ryan waters, tui levini vacated rather than fight him and no one in the top dozen want no part of him.
In days gone by fighters would fight with a broken arm for a chance at an aussie title, big bob mirovik still regards the belt worthy maybe there should be more like him.
Maybe someone can answer in the forum why a boxer with 6 pro fights cannot get an opponent for the junior middleweight title?
Australian Titles
Re: Australian Titles
It seems no one cares if they are the best fighter in Australia. They would rather take no risks and get a 20-0 record.
Its a sad fact and it really sucks as the Aus title should be something to be really proud of.

Re: Australian Titles
There are a couple that would take him on, but they like Davidson don't have a promoter willing to put in on.
Re: Australian Titles
Part of it would also be the fact that you can't hold an Aus title and a regional title at the same time. Regional Titles get you a world ranking so that is a the way most tend to go...
Re: Australian Titles
There is no one willing to fight him i know for a fact that his manager has tried everyone in the junior middleweight division with no luck, he has a promoter willing to put the aussie title on but no opponent willing to fight for it, if anyone knows anyone who is willing reply to this asap.
