Isn't it time Oscar found another line of work?

The same goes for Hiriwa Te Rangi. Seeing Hiriwa listed as an "active" fighter reminds me of the pregnant girl who told the doctor she was not sexually active, explaining it by saying "I just lie there."

Shane McConville must be an ok boxer , only his second fight, and stops Wade Foley. Or maybe Wades chin is not so good. Was ok in the amatures mmm no head gear make it a lot different. Good going McConville you have James Chan next, now he can hit hard. :shame:

Chan can hit hard but Shane will outbox him. He could have a match up with Joel Casey in April. He is a definate chance in that one to.

Mike Foley had lodged an appeal to have the decision changed to Tech Draw, and will be heard at tonite's ANBF Qld meeting.

Reason:
Wade suffered cuts to both eyes in the 1st round (both punch), although one being a bit iffy Dr Ron was satisfied it was OK to let the fight continue.
Wade was cut again on the forehead, which appeared to be accidental, in the 2nd, which produced a fair bit of blood and was getting into his eyes, at which point Dr Ron pulled the plug.

Ref Cyril Cairns, unaware how the cut was produced nor consulting judges, declared McConville winner by TKO.

I dare say, Mike's appeal will probably be successful.

I'll keep you posted
