hi raymoon ere id like to mention a lad from the 1970s doncaster Terry shenton orwin, an adopted name orwin son of the late annie shenton orwin,show people from manchester,fair ground fighters,annie shenton relocated in doncaster in the late 1950s with her three sons after the death of there father who was shot dead in manchester gangland wars in the 1960s she brought up three sons alone who all worked the fairs the lad i trained back then was terry shenton orwin, being in the fight game myself and promos in london and manchester unlicensed fight game we followed the money, in 1979 jersey, terry shenton orwin fought harry denz a district champion from sweeden, after a long and bloody fight shenton orwin won we made a load of money and denz went to hospital one of the longest and hardest, best bare knuckle fights i ever promod back them,a hardman in his time but a nice man terry shenton orwin !!!!!

a close relative of mine was mates with danny shenton. i think they had a row once, shenton went for him, slid on some ice and fell over. and ppl thought my relative - a reet pussy who can only beat on his own family - had dropped him. :lol:

it might have actually been on some steps. so when he slid over, it will have looked pretty dramatic - even though it was a total accident.

then again, the person who told me this, could well have been under the influence or just talking deranged nonsense.

I hear he was not to be messed with. Dont know him myself but heard alot about him. Did your relative get a slap off him later then
