Well one thing is for certain Haye wont stop him but with his speed and agility he could win on workrate and probably will. For Haye its going to be 12 rounds of dodging in and out and trying not to cop one on the chin. Is the fight being billed as David and Goliath? it should be. The size and weight difference is rediculous. Can Haye do the same as Chagaev? if he can then he wins against the giant. A sling and a stone might help him.

Haye will get tired - beacuse I think he will be on the back foot - and not so much wat Valuev does - but just by plodding forward - Haye is gonna use up more energy trying to move - to avoid getting in clinchs with such a man mountain.

I hope Haye wins and sets up a fight with the Kiltishkos.

However unless Haye can break that so far unbreakable chin - he might be so tired come the 8th, 9th, 10th round - that Valuev might just stop him out of sheer fatigue.

David V Goliath

Thats what its being billed as

And if he cant stop Valuev as you say - I think he loses

As I think he has got stmania issues - and a big lump like Valuev bearing down on you is going to be energy sapping

They were smaller guys

I think he was getting gassed and tired trying to keep Monte Barret off him

Its gonna be even harder with Valuev breathing down your neck

I mean fragomeni was a little guy - this Vauluev is huge - and I think Haye is gonna have to use up alot more energy

Of course I give Haye a chance for the KO - he is a very heavy handed guy

Its hard for me to judge how good Valuevs chin is

But I know Haye is very powerful - so a KO is defentily a possibilty

Put it this way.......................I expect Valuevs chin to get tested like never before - wether he wins or loses

Its wether that chin stands up to the power - or not -

he looked fine to me he was using more enery but thats to be expected

valuev is nowhere near as fast as barrett most of the energy haye will use will be attackin the body and moving i dont think haye will let valuev lean on him till the later rounds

Valuev stopped Barret though

So based on that you gotta say Valuev is beeter than Barret

I know things are not as clear cut as A beats B beats C theory

But I'm just saying - a fringe contender like Monte Barret - made David Haye work hard in the 5 rounds it lasted

I think he will have to work even harder and longer in this fight here

So for me stamnia and fatigue is a real issue in this fight

several guys have wobbled Valuev

in particular Gerald Nobles

and have a look at the dominquez fight...the little tubby cruiser was teeing off with huge bolos to the neanderthal brow of Valuev.

i like this fight

if haye fells this flippin brontosaurus its going to make the Klit fights go SUPERNOVA

and finally HW boxing might become a global spectacle again....

i think Haye's going to get beat but I admire his have gloves can travel attitude, go on lad!...but I think Valuev will find his rhythm faster, and it will be down hill for a brief period after the first knockdown comes.

Obviously a huge size difference :D

Big guy that Valuev, big guy = big target.

Not sure how this fight will pan out, I think only on the night will it be clear. If Valuev can take Haye's power, which is substantial, then I might favour him to wear him down. If Haye's power has some kind of effect, then I'd fancy him strongly.

Valuev is very underrated though.

Lolz, I can't help but chuckle at the sheer comedy of this pic. It's equivlent to a lightweight taking on a heavy.

There is going to be about 100lb+ different between these two, it's just damn crazy. I think with the way heavyweigths are going now adays, they should introduce super heavyweight into pro ranks. Say 250lb+ ??

I'm largely with you Danny. I think Haye can not just hurt Valuev, he can win this by stoppage - it's not just his natural power, but his speed that can do the damage. Cue the old cliche about it's the shots you don't see that hurt you...

Of course you soft lads in your comic book worlds will never know that it's The Don King who picks the winner. Big Nik might be wearing his Christmas cuffs, depending on the length of services Mr. Haye has contracted for The Don King.

the only thing about a super Heavy division is that boxing's global profile is so low now if we had a super weight full of the likes of, say, Valuev WBA, Julius Long wbc, Fields ibf etc it would totally kill off heavyweight boxing for good.

the top tier has to stay heavyweight but surely raising the cruiser top limit to about 215 lbs ??? lets face it, how many guys under 215 can make a splash in the heavies ?

Are you having a laugh? A whole chicken? Woooowwww. Where does he find room for a whole chicken. That's at least, two and a half pounds of meat. I mean, who could possibly imagine eating that.

A whole chicken, indeed. Try forty whole chickens.

Valuev (which, I have just confirmed on native speaker authority is pronounced Val-oo-ef), is fcuking massive. His head is the size of a beach ball. Haye is a big lad, and he's just dwarfed by that b@stard. I tell you what, with Haye's stamina issues, he better hope that he doesn't get in too many clinches with him.

Haye KO3.

That would be a decent argument if Valuev, Long and Fields were actually any good. But in actual fact, the guys who you claim shouldn't be allowed in the same division actually beat them regularly. So who cares how big they are?

On the stamina issue, Haye, like most bangers, is a punch picker, he only gets tired when made to fight hard. Did slow, methodical Valuev make old Holyfield fight hard? no, Holy just didnt have the legs to stick and move for 12 rounds, and still almost won. im not saying Haye is a cert, he dsnt throw much and could b outworked but i dnt c him losing on stamina.

I think Haye should go for the body. Bang, bang and out the side door.
