I was going to ask Bunce about all the fuss with Hyde at his roadshow thing recently. Thought it best not to poke the bear though

To be fair though Ian, reading the below which was publ;ished in the guardian, the whole "attack" is based on Bunce owning the website and putting the content on himself!

Website of the week is bringbackbunce.net, the nerve centre of erstwhile Setanta boxing pundit Steve Bunce's campaign to get his show back on your telly. From plugs for his touring show Bunce Live – "intimate venues mean tickets will go fast" – to attacks on Five for not snapping him up, there is so much to enjoy that you must explore it.

But you are obviously implored to tread softly, given Steve's delicate temperament. Do recall that passing mention of one of his apercus in a previous column moved our hero to issue an email communique, which I dimly recall ran along the lines of "make me a cup of tea, sweetheart", and concluded with the deathless sign-off: "Adios, Bunce". The missive served both to mark him out as the ringside Mark Twain, and to remind us that the fight game is not the hardest game in the world. The hardest game in the world is ranting about the fight game on free-to-air digital TV, and its heroes are to be forgiven for the occasional lapse into amusing oversensitivity.

I was struck by a prominently displayed section entitled "Political Support", in which Bunce names the politicians he alleges are backing his campaign – an intriguing list topped by former Irish premier Bertie Ahern and David Blunkett. Alas, calls to both men's offices to clarify meet with utter bemusement – "I've never heard of him", as Blunkett put it, while an indignant Ahern "knows nothing about this whatsoever". Still, with momentum like this, how long before Bunce secures the endorsement of Barack Obama, or at the very least Henry Kissinger?

Poor show this, we all know where Ikea is in that German region....shit effort on the part of the Guardian
