How would i go about posting this on boxrec.com? Someone said that my source wasn't reliable, because many times boxrec has gotten invalid information. So when they get conformation, they'll post it, but i don't know if they'll post it or not. They also said I could become an editor for the site, by emailing some guy named John i believe. How would I do this, becuase my brother Larry Greene was one of the fights, and he, as well as all the other fighters would be glad to be on the site updayed as well. Thanks alot. Please reply here or email me at [email protected]. Thanks

You could become an editor by e-mailing John at Boxrec or just get some confirmation that these fights are "real", i.e. A recognised fight site or such which has the results on it and we will enter them

The Watts/Fraza fight is on secondsout.com, but the others aren't what do people think, should we enter or wait for more confirmation?

thanks but there is one problem, Larry Greenes records wrong

Post by center1571 »

Larry Greene only boxed Jose Ortiz once, not twice. He boxed him the 21st of 2002 in Revere and was a draw, not in 2001, please correct this ASAP. Thanks for fixing all other boxers records.

Also, I have some information on my brother Larry Greene that could be added.

Nationality-United States
Hometown- Haverhill, Ma
Division- Lightweight
Date of Birth- 08-08-1978
Age- 23
Alias- The Dream

Also, like I posted earlier, Larry Greene has had 1 fight with Jose Ortiz and it was a draw on 6-21-02. He hasn't had 2.

Please post this also. I appreciate this SOOOO much. Thanks alot.

Theres one mistake on Larry Greenes characteritics. I put that he was a lightweight, when he actually is a light welterweight.
Below are his characteristics

Larry Greene
sex- male
Nationality-United States
Hometown- Haverhill, Ma
Division- Light welterweight
Date of Birth- 08-08-1978
Age- 23
Alias- The Dream

his pro record
0 wins,0 losses, 1 draw

Below is his fight career
Date opponent Opp. record Location Result
6-21-02 Jose Angel Ortiz 0-5 Revere, MA D|PTS|4

These are 100000% correct, and please post on boxrec.com
Me and my brother are sooo grateful of this. Thanks, and sorry for any problems.

This should make the fightcard official:
The scoreboard from "The Boston Globe" Saturday June 22, 2002.

Boxing Pro Card at Wonderland Ballroom, Revere:
New England Super Lightweight - Jeff Fraza, Haverhill def. Kevin Watts, South Boston, 10-round unanimous decision.
Heavyweights - Jeff Jones, Brockton def. Dan Yeskovis, Brockton, 1st round TKO.
Heavyweights - Knowledge Bey, Syracuse, NY def Steve Figliano, Quincy, 4-round decision.
Super middleweights - Martin Thorton, South Boston and James McCray, Atlantic City, NJ, no contest called in 3rd round.
Welterweights - Larry Green, Haverhill and Jose Ortiz, West Springfield, 4-round draw.

Btw, the Ballroom is a good place to go and check out latin music if you like.
