Come on he is very recogniseable, but I suppose that only applys if you have been following boxing a long time.

That's a cool pic.

Look's like Lennox is giving Henry the elbow.

I'm the other way round with Nicky Piper. Remembered him from fighting Eubank then saw him presenting recently. He's completely changed to the point I almost didn't recognise him in his older age. Looking at him in this picture you'd never think he was a boxer. He looks like a regular office worker with his soft face and side parting haircut.

Any idea who's the big guy on the left with the pink/grey jacket ?

It'd be nice to know what a lot of those guys are doing these days.

Nice picture.

i've just seen rhino fail to recognise Nicky Piper in this thread and in another (some pics to brighten up the forum) - fail to recognise that the guy chinning Calzaghe was BHop....(is that Charles Brewer he said)....this beggar was reading me the riot act last month and it must have ticked me off as he made my ignore list.
Nice to be vindicated... :OhYes:

not Paul Samuels I don't think. Can't really knock Lennox can you. Balls, ability, massive height and reach, retired unbeaten. That's the way to do it what.

edit:

hahaha, I just read my own post. What the fck am I on about?? Well, didn't retire unbeaten, but at the top when he could have gone on.

Cooper v Lewis - Wembley Stadium, undisputed Heavyweight Championship of the Ages. I'd go.

Great pic' Eric. Nice to see Eamonn Loughran, never forget the buzz back home in my local boxing club when he won the silver at the World Junior, then the year after we had McCullough in the Olympics and then Carruth getting the Gold in Barcelona a few years later. Legends in the local amateur clubs at the time.

er.....noAsterix...as that would be the same as unbeaten. And Lennox didn't beat Mccall or Rahman..........Ah...yes he did....I sees where you're coming from.
But no, that isn't what I meant. I just meant, he was the , how shall we say...top man...in the division, without question (really)...but he took checked out. And Heavies have the longest longevity as well. No small achievement.

I've never seen a picture of Francis Ampofo where he isn't smiling. Even after the Johnny Armour robbery.

The first question you ignored was pretty good also - why are you on the picture?

The tall guy on our left - Maurice Core? Looks tall enough!
