When I saw David Chappell in Richmond, VA on Feb 12th of this year fight Nicoli Firth his record on the program was 12-4. While i'm not sure how accurate that is, i'm pretty sure he has had more then the 8 fights shown on boxrec.com. Of course, I have nothing to back this up, but hopefully I can find something showing he has fought more then the 8 people here. Can anyone back this up for me, or am I traveling this road alone?

I promoted the show and I didn't have any programs, only bout sheets without the boxer's records. My ring announcer, Henry "Discombobulating" Jones, announced David's record as 3-3 which was the same as BoxRec at the time. I have since gotten an official Fight Fax on David and had his record updated on BoxRec. David's official record is 6-4 and is correct on BoxRec. He had a good number of pro style fights when he was in that famed institution of higher learning known as the Virginia Correctional System, no headgear, 10 oz. gloves, and durations of 6,8, or 10 rounds. During the tenure of David's "studies", Virginia had a statewide prison boxing program and David won all of these fights, most by knockout.
