Kays impressing me, I have Kays winning 4 rounds, Walsh winning 3 rounds after 7 rounds. But Walsh won one of those with a knockdown. So all square for me after 7 rounds!

8th round, Kays buzzed up Walsh, Walsh did some good work though, couldn't really split them in that round, drawn round.

Kays KO'd. Good little burst to end it by Walsh.

Nice little scrap, not easy at all for Walsh.

10th round - Kays counted out I think it was probably the body shots that did it. Kays acquitted himself well though and proved he has some good skills, just unfortunately for him not got the power at the top level to hurt people and make people really take a step back.

Walsh, did what he had to but will have to improve markedly on this if he is to win British or Euro titles.

Good fight. Walsh adjusted well last couple of rounds when it looked like it might get away from him. Crazy judging.

Pretty much a lock that the next opponent will be from Africa

I only had Walsh one up before the knockout. Don't know what those judges were watching unless they just scoring on punches thrown, not landed in a lot of the rounds as Walsh hit a lot of gloves and elbows.

i think alot of people need to up there opinion of bobby rimmer now too after he took a right hammering after tony jeffries left him.. he picked jon up after his first pro defeat and has took him all the way to a commonwealth title shot and also has taken brian rose too an english title and british title eliminator whilst bring some young vip debutants through and is also a top top man..

Jon Kays earned a lot of respect there, really dug in and shocked a lot of people. Fight was a lot closer than them crazy scorecards. Good start to a good nights boxing. Well done both lads :TU:

Kays fought a good fight, good on him. I must say I had a bet on Walsh in the 4th, and I was oh so close!! Good fight all round but the best man won. Well done Liam Walsh. :box: :box: :box:
