Hello. Only one question. Why the fight Gomez vs Sinan Sam is now a NC?
Yesterday it was a win for Gomez by UD.

Yeah i noticed the same...why would this fight be changed to a no-contest?? this fight took place so long ago...

The fight took place 2 years ago!! how could he have tested positive? why such a delay?

It is not widely known, but Cuban heavyweight Juan Carlos Gomez (37-0, 31 KOs), who scored a unanimous decision over Turkey's Sinan Samil Sam (18-1, 11 KOs) on the same card as Mesi-Williamson, was at first informed his victory had been declared a no-decision after he tested positive for a banned substance.

After 2 days, the New York State Athletic Commission - according to the record keepers at Fight Fax Inc. - restored Gomez's "W" when technicians at the medical facility that administered his prebout MRI confirmed they had had to give the claustrophobic fighter a sedative to calm him down before he would consent to entering the confined space of the MRI tube. Some ingredient in the sedative, it seems, was on the NYSAC's no-no list.

Was the decision overruled once again?

2 years later ????. Incredible, the boxing commissions seem handled by really morons, sometimes.
