Well am trying to understand some of this comments, especially "what are you guys doing to stop this" (comment). Well I think this is what needs to be done until the coach is removed from boxing or from coaching on an Olympic level. The boxing organization is not doing anything about it so as members of the boxing organization all register members have the rights to hear answers on this and I believe no body are hearing this answers. If a coach is not capable to coach on a national or international level after seeing proof such as this videos, and USA Boxing is not taking any appropriate action or at least giving there reason on a statement, this is going to continue, this is the right of the members. Friendship does not have anything to do with this situation, safety does. Maybe somebody should start a committee and approach USA Boxing with this and do it in a different way, but if I was this coach, I'll resign myself, no body can tell me this videos are not evidence enough to see that this coach is not capable of running a major training camp. USA Boxing in the past year is all about friendship and not about skills and knowledge, that is why I stick to my pro's and leave the amateurs alone, don't want to get caught up on all of this. USA Boxing is a good organization and should look at this closely and give their members some answers.

USAB Statement Regarding Ron Simms
As of November 14, 2011

USA Boxing has launched an investigation into the accusations that have recently been received by the administration regarding Ron Simms and the incident that occurred in March 2010 at the U.S. Marine Corp Boxing Gym in Camp Lejeune, N.C. USA Boxing has appointed a legal investigative panel to lead the investigation under the direction of Anthony Bartkowski, USA Boxing executive director. Ron Simms will not be a team coach until the investigation is completed. The results will be presented to the USA Boxing Board of Directors as soon as completed. USA Boxing will have no further comment on this matter until the investigation is complete.

Good statement should of been done long time ago, that is a good start, but why did you get this e-mail and is not posted, or is it?. Board of governors which are all members of the governing body (register members) should know of this statement, and that will calm things down. Who is leading the investigation? A neutral party?. Let's get over this by doing it right. Posting it here is no help, should be done where all members can see and wait.
