I'd say more like 2 hours? It's 8 22 in Germany right now. But I'm not sure.

This fight is like boxings version of if a tree falls in the woods, but no one is around to hear it does it make a sound?

In what sense? Millions of people tune in to watch the Klitschkos, regardless of who they're fighting.

Doesn't appear as if many give a f#ck about THIS fight on this forum or other forums.

Eastside certainly seem to have had plenty of activity on the RBR...

People on this forum obviously care about the fight in some respect, because there have been numerous threads about it, and I believe that you posted in many of them.

Millions of people who don't post on this forum will watch the bout through some medium and tens of thousands will be there live; they will have no doubts that the bout occured.

I think most, myself included, talked about how sh!tty a fight this was & how we wouldn't be watching it in those threads. I believe I said I might watch it just because its on in the afternoon, but have come to the conclusion I won't be. That said few still seem to give a f#ck about this fight. Personally I don't think Andre vs Chad has gotten enough attention but this HW title fight has come in a distant second place to Andre & Chad from what I'm seeing.

You're reading English speaking forums, which obviously aren't representative of the world's population.

Andre vs Chad is a better fight, but there will be far more people attending and probably more people watching Klitschko-Charr. And while you and others may think that the latter is a poor fight, you obviously care about it in some respect, otherwise you wouldn't continually state your opinion on it. Thus, the analogy you provided is unfitting.

Russia's a huge country. Ukraine and Germany have quite a few people also. Ward and Dawson aren't megastars in America. I'm sure that, worldwide, more people care about the Klitschko fight, awful though it is. Vitali's huge in Eastern Europe.

... whether some are watching and some not is entirely up to them...it's a HW fight, one of the belts is at stake, Charr is 14 years younger and undefeated, the champ is 41 and it's probably his last fight... of course, a lot of fans will be watching...

Among hardcore fans, Dawson-Ward is cared about more.
But not by the general public worldwide.
Even in the U.S., it's not even a PPV.

If this is true boxing IS f#cked. Two p4p guys fighting should be of more interest to anyone with any interest in boxing world wide. Charr doesn't deserve to even be in a title fight, he's prolly just the best guy who'll except a shitty Klitschhko family contract.

From a boxing quality point of view I agree. But from a worldwide stage point of view, it's clear this fight is much, much larger.

And I don't think that's any different if it happened now, 10 or 20, or 30 years ago, really.

Are you serious? America doesn't even care about Ward vs Dawson. Why would the rest of the world?

Like I said if this is a fact its no wonder boxing always seems to be losing ground. 2 top guys in any sport competing should be a huge event to any fans all over the globe.

Dawson-Ward isn't even a PPV here. I think fans in Ukraine, Russia, and Germany are more interested in the Klitschko fight.

I don't doubt its more popular in some places. I wouldn't say that is unlikely to begin with. Among boxing fans worldwide you'd think 2 prime p4p champions fighting would be the more important fight, the more cared about fight vs a old HW champion in a boring division fighting a no-hope challenger is all I'm saying.

What would get more views, and media coverage in the U.S. right now: Mike Tyson coming back to fight Butterbean, or the Dawson-Ward fight?

And, there is your answer.
