Somehwere in one of the middle rounds, he nailed Pipino with a big punch, that Pipino later said was
the hardest punch he had ever been hit with.

Pipino had a swollen jaw for 3-weeks after that bout.

Any idea of when that punch occurred.

Harold Weston, I think he is really underrated. That happens to a lot of guys who don't have a big punch and fall short of the absolute top level.

I could see that. I'd probably have gone with Shields based on the closeness of the fight. Too bad Gray wasn't closer to his prime, and Ranzany was quality also.
