Angle Espada was floored in the 2nd Round, but did come back and fought some spirited rounds,
before not being able to come out for Round 12.

Somehwere in one of the middle rounds, he nailed Pipino with a big punch, that Pipino later said was
the hardest punch he had ever been hit with.

Pipino had a swollen jaw for 3-weeks after that bout.

Any idea of when that punch occurred.
no, but whenever it was Pipino has been hit much harder.

No doubt about it, so did Duran. Angel was a solid fighter, probably the second best guy Pipino beat during his reign.

Whom did you think was better? Shields? Very close fight that was.

In an interview on Spanish Television, 'Pipino' said that 'Cholo' Espada was the only fighter to
ever hurt him with a punch.

Pipino said that he was hit by a hook in the Espada II bout, and that his jaw was swollen for 3-weeks.
That was before Hearns and Duran.

Harold Weston, I think he is really underrated. That happens to a lot of guys who don't have a big punch and fall short of the absolute top level.

No kidding, that's what I'm taking about 'nitwit'
Since he was obviously hit harder more than once *after* that fight, rather pointless, I'd say.

I could see that. I'd probably have gone with Shields based on the closeness of the fight. Too bad Gray wasn't closer to his prime, and Ranzany was quality also.
