As much as i'd like to see it, I doubt it will happen.

He fought Canelo and Bradley up at LWW, and neither of them could put him away.

I think Prescott is the only one to drop him.

I think body shots would slow Vazquez right down, take his legs away.

you don't have to be a boxing coach to post on a forum, billy nelson.

it doesn't sound unbelievable that burns may have to win this one ugly, vs a very frustrating operator that nobody has called out, not even burns (to my knowledge), until the broner-rees fight was set up.

clearly burns and billy are eager to make a statement in taking on the very toughest available fight, and should be applauded for doing so. and what a terrific opportunity, getting a mexican away from home, where he could be well out of sorts.

hoping that ricky wins, whether he grinds the guy down, knocks him out, or is forced to do the leading and outhustle this very sprightly, experienced and unorthodox mexican for the duration. i hope it develops from highly skilled, boxing to a contest in which both have to dig deeper and deeper, and produce a classic.

perhaps ricky's momentum (some serious wins over top 10 opponents in the last few fights) will lead to a famous, exciting & decisive win. in the build up i will be nervous, however. and i'm not certain it's going to look pretty. what if vazquez won't engage?
