insufficient recovery time from injury is the biggest risk I would have thought.

Barring injuries, by the time he fights on the u/c of Haye vs Fury he could be something like 16-0.

Worryingly Hughie doesn't look to be really hurting his opponent this is probably because he is not physically mature and therefore not yet hitting as hard as he will at say 25 this and his vulnerability to getting caught will cause him problems when he steps up. He has potential though but i can't help feeling its being rushed.

I have wondered a bit about Hughie's power, he hasn't looked like much of a puncher even against the the level of guy he's been in with. Hopefully it comes for him with age, but as you say I'm not sure the rush to break Tyson's record is a great idea. Although it is nice to see them keeping him busy.

I think it's a personal investment which u gotta do in boxing these days unfortunately but I do rate hug hie he is improving u gotta remember he is only 18 give the guy a break

His first 10 or 12 fights are meant to be against journeymen, to learn the craft a bit. I don't see a big issue with keeping busy if he can do it.

Saying that, now he's had 12 fights he needs to move up in quality. The quality of his first 12 fights aren't important. The quality of his next 12 are.

Fury is deliberately getting rounds in, he can knock out most of these guys when he wants. I believe he is by far the most exciting heavyweight prospect out there, look at his skill set, of course he is still very young, but I think giving him the exposure and keeping him busy is a good thing for him.

Your first 10 or 12 fights are meant to be learning fights, learning how to be a pro. Etc. But there's no point being a professional boxer if you're just going to fight crud your entire career.

Yep I think the Fury camp know Hughie's a lot better skilled than Wilder so are not milking it for all it's worth

Hughie fights for free, and his coach/dad/Peter Fury also pays the opponents purse.

For any promoter he cannot lose - he gets a fight for free, and can also use the Fury name and infer that Tyson might also turn up and do a turn on the karaoke !
