George looks less tired, but also referenced carnage at 2am in his hotel. Apparently not the same hotel.

Carl Froch weighs in this morning at 12 stone 5
Groves at 12 stone 8
Carl is great at making this weight, sooo comfortable and natural, always looks in tip top condition

So technically, Carl is out of shape as I'm sure he has mentioned a couple of times that he never goes more than a few pounds above fighting weight?95gerog wrote:Carl Froch weighs in this morning at 12 stone 5

When he says that, i thought he meant inbetween fights.

It surprises me that they stay in an apartment in Manchester the night before a massive fight. Most apartment blocks I know in Manchester, even really expensive ones like Beetham Tower, they are hotspots for parties at weekend. I'd be wanting to stay somewhere really quiet, some plush, expensive hotel in Knutsford or somewhere.

I agree, does seem a bit bonkers. I know they have to weigh in again in the morning, but you'd think 45 mins outside the city wouldn't cause any issues and wouldn't be too much of an early start for the morning weigh in.
