Haye & Khan

Post by Rockys gum shield »

Was I alone in thinking they were both a tad disrespectful of Glenn McCrory at times last night, I felt Khan spoke direct at David as if Glenn hadn't fought at their level.

I also found Khan very arrogant during analysis of Luke Campbell, "he's the same age as me" basically saying look what I've achieved at the same age.

At one stage David needed reminding of George's name lol! he's trained with the kid for the last five years.

If this is the level of analysis I've got to listen to when I'm not attending the fight then I maybe wont be buying the PPV again.

Give David credit, he's been busy eating dinners with Parsons Cross all week and then doing his punditry with Sky, all paid...I'm glad he's kept so busy so he doesn't become depressed about the Fury fight falling through....

I thought the pundits in the studio were one of the few high points of the show last night. All three spoke a lot of sense and Khan appears to have matured recently. His point was in reference to whether Campbell should be moved more quickly and he should be if he has the ability he is supposed to have.

They were more palatable than Jim Watt.

Why Sky still let him commentate is simply a wonder of the world.

I thought Haye did a great job and gave a valuable insight as he knows both of the fighters so well.

It worked well. Glenn usually just sits on the fence but he has become a bit more opinionated these days, which is not a bad thing.

Some decent discussions. Not amazing, but decent.
