Groves-Degale rematch

How would you see it going? Try and remove Groves's performance from last night out of it somewhat aswell. The reason I say that is we all know Degale poses different problems to Froch.

It is impossible surely to remove a fighter's most recent performance from our thoughts especially as it is the highest level that either Groves or Degale have fought. Either way I think Groves wins. I'm not convinced Degale really wants Groves again in any case

Groves has his number, just a bit too strong and aggressive for Degale. Can only see Degale winning if he does something drastic in his approach to the game, not seen any sign of that yet.

Id like to see Groves in with Ward,doesnt he(GG) still hold some WBA Intencontinental title or something

Ward would outbox Groves surely but he has about as much chance as anyone of making a fight with Andre competitive,people might like to see Groves in a warm up before it but Ward isnt a dangerous puncher and i would hesitate to put George in with next if he cant get the Froch rematch

The reason I said try and remove it from your thinking is that quite often we ie fight fans will see a great performance or win and then we'll blow it out of proportion in terms of how that particular fighter will then do against another guy. A poor example I know but I remember when Price was flattening people left, right and centre and Fury was struggling in some of his fights and you'd get a lot based on the knockout wins Price was having saying Price would Destroy Fury and so on.

Its like me,i usually choose between Quigg and Frampton judging on whose fought more recent

degale was unlucky in their fight, it was razor thin. plus he had groves all over the place in the ninth.

For what it's worth, I prefer Groves as a fighter anyway! I dont like the way James "slaps" with his punches and also because he isnt really a puncher, it takes away from the excitement some what. George on the other hand has the skills and the punching power. Great combo to watch.

What I mean is you're only as good as your last win and thus George is now the man of the moment. They hype ends up blowing peoples perceptions of how another fight would end up based on that guys last performance.

Degale would run all night and try to steal it, then complain about losing I expect. Or, try to put it on GG and get stopped in doing so, imo.
I can't believe Froch has offered a rematch to Groves - he clearly prides, in fact defines himself on picking the hardest road, but he's at risk of ending up punchy.
I didn't really like him on the radio today - he was balanced and quite respectful but you could still feel the arrogance creeping through at times.

I heard the interview a little while ago actually. Yeah he still sounds a little bit in denial about it to be honest! Hopefully the rematch happens
