Re: mark breland v amir khan
Breland may have looked a puncher against a shot Honeyghan, but generally his power was far less impressive than Thomas Hearns, (despite similar outward appearances). I would think this would be a fairly even battle of skills. Khan is faster but Breland had perhaps the better craft. A draw would not be out of the question.
Re: mark breland v amir khan
I see it going the same way as with that lanky fella who nearly decapitated poor Amir.
Re: mark breland v amir khan
Close one. Both men could and probably would score knockdowns.
Re: mark breland v amir khan
That little run of explosive kayoes breland put together in his second wba run convinces me that although amir could easily hang with breland in a boxing match it just won't get to that stage broadcasts a big punches even if nowhere near a hearns or curves, and amir in truth is a pumped up lightweight

You don't need to be a Hearns level puncher to hurry Khan, do you?polecateddy wrote:Breland may have looked a puncher against a shot Honeyghan, but generally his power was far less impressive than Thomas Hearns, (despite similar outward appearances). breland would wait for khan to gas and decapitate him, from what I can remember he was a fine technician,to savvy and skilled for khan
