I will meet you in Croydons nearest Wetherspoons at 9.00am on fight day. No lunch breaks though. Or if you fancy a change, over 100 of us are going to the Fury fight. Booked out the entire restaurant.

Not really fussed about the Fury vs Chisora fight, if I'm honest.

I may have to get back to you about Froch vs Groves. I'm having a trip to see snooker in April, and have a few other things I have to go to in May. May just be able to get in the Pay-Per-View, but dunno about tickets and all day drinking and what not.

I'll probably talk to you nearer the time though.

Officially announced as Matchroom on Sky sports news press conference moments ago and will face Brandon Gonzales in IBF Final Eliminator at Wembley.
I missed the first few minutes of the presser. Did it say why they werent persuing the WBC route against Bika?

Clearly Eddie is angling to have the winner of Froch/Groves defend against DeGale next.

Regale has only had 18 fights in 6 years. Hopefully he doesn't have three or more warm ups with match room before having a meaningful fight.

Enzo Calzaghe isn't a bad shout - notwithstanding he's a leftie super middleweight, de gales problem is he is lazy and lacks concentration; he made damn sure Joe was anything but!!
Enzo is a terrible shout.
He's the right fit for DeGale, might just give him a much needed kick up the arse too.

Worked fine for plenty of other fighters, who would you have DeGale train with?
