2:37 It's early in the fight and Pacquiao knows his cut could develop in a real problem in subsequent rounds. 6:17
2:37 * The referee appears to be jockeying for position; he's moving more than the fighters. Apparently, he wants to get a better look at the cut above Pacquiao's eye. Now, he just steps in and stops the action. Padilla is escorting Pacquiao over to the ringside doctor to get an opinion on the severity of the cut. 6:17
2:37 * The ringside physician is making a thorough examination of the cut, after having cleared away some of the blood. He's dabbing at the wound again and from the way all three participants, doctor, ref and fighter, are nodding their heads, it looks like this contest is going to get back underway. 2:37 * The referee won't stop the fight on his own if the reason for the stoppage directly has to do with a cut or swelling; he'll always consult the ringside doctor. And it looks like, in this case, we're going to see some more boxing because the physician has given his okay to let the fight continue. Both fighters are assuming their positions and the timer has restarted here in Round 2 as the fighters approach one another. 6:17

1:29 Now the bleeding from the gash outside Pacquiao's right eye has begun to flow again. 3:9
1:29 * The fighters jockey back and forth and now the referee is going to use this opportunity to step in and call timeout. He's taking Pacquiao by the arm and leading him to the far ropes where the ringside physician can take a look at the cut above Pacquiao's eye. 3:9

Convincing there from Morales. Good fight, but he seemed to be pulling away.

Yeah Morales was awful pissed off this week about losing his title, and just needed a body to take it out on. I figured this was the perfect time for him to set the record straight with that draw, as he was looking like he was really ready to tear somebody's head off in the gym.

Good fight again though.

Just noticed that one judge had Larios 3 rounds up.
