Adrien Broner is a helmet

Post by Matt W »

Ok, nothing new here but f#ck me has there ever been a bigger c0ck in boxing? No wit, no charisma, no class. Hope Showtime drop him and don't give him the airtime he so obviously craves.

And all this Big Brother slaver?

F*CK OFF!!!!!

I can hardly bear to watch him. They need to get him on Jeremy Kyle that could be a laugh.

And when he's chewing that gum of his....

I was hoping Gavin Rees may have fought like Maidana did against him when they fought. I would have loved Rees to have pulled that one off.

I dont think i've ever agreed with the suject heading of a post as much as i agree with this one.

An absolute tool. No class what so ever.

He's nowhere near good enough to avoid getting his a$$ handed to him again and i look forward to seeing it.

when he came through he was pretty entertaining, now i can't stand him, would be a real shame if he gets sparked then blows all his money :TU: The maidana fight was an absolute pleasure to watch.

well hopefully he learned something from it. Personally I feel a bit sorry for him. If he still acts a tw*t even after Maidana gave him a much needed humbling then he really doesn't have good people around him at all. A bizarre character. It's not like the blueprint for his sort of behaviour isn't well documented - i.e. acting like a flash tw*t and ending up broke.

Well after watching his post fight interview from the weekend,he clearly hasn't learned a thing, look forward to his next beating.

I have no doubt whatsoever that he is going to end up a broke boxer with not a penny to his name. Five kids to five different women equals financial suicide. That is a delicate balancing act which can only be successfully performed when you're picking up several six digit paychecks a year. You have got no chance of pulling that off when the income drops off. Those kid's mums will all end up wealthier than Adrien.

Would love to see Broner served-up to Thurman......give us a small ring, puncher's gloves and 'One Time' coming into the fight with bad intentions having had a bellyfull of Broner's antics. Thurman by 12-round humbling, beatdown please.

Id say it would be more like thurman by 1st round devastating KO. Broners got no place at welter and thurman is a beast

I'd like to see them stick him in with khan so we can see him get torn to shreds and humiliated.

His post fight interview the other night made me really hate him, "its just a sparring session to me" "my last fight made me more humble" ha ha

Especially the bit where Maidana dry humped him back in the 12th. Quality. Maidana is superb value.

The WBC have suspended him. I knew they wouldn't like his Mexican comments.

He is definately boxings biggest bell end, a hardon of might proportions, a right wan*er, a complete and utter tosser. Watching his antics is so cringeworthy its almost painful.

Agree with most that's been said. He must have terrible people around him if none of them can make him change his ways even after a beating! The pre and post fight comments are bad enough but the dry-humping of Maidana and the MMA take-down on Molina were just embarrassing!

This. And he'll end up getting beaten up for $2k in high school gyms by novices and slurring his words. Inevitable sadly.

Probably right.

It was only a few years ago that Evander Holyfield would sit in his 109 room mansion and count the $250 million + money he had earned.

Fast forward a few years (and 11 kids and few divorces etc.) and he is now skint and appearing on Big Brother.

I wish people would get to the point. Are you saying you are not a fan then?

I absolutely agree with people that he is an absolute prick. However I do I think his on screen personality will lead to him getting bigger purses and bigger fights. When a lot of people want to see someone get beaten up it is a powerful ticket seller and far easier to cultivate than building a genuine fan base. There are a lot of quality American light welters / welters and winning world championships won't necessary lead to multi millions. Look at Andre Ward, granted he is not an exciting fighter but neither is Mayweather, people want to see Mayweather lose, the general US public dont give a fornicate about Ward.
