Dover Town Hall 1919

We have a Boxing Cup that belonged to my husbands Uncle Ralph Hopper, I cannot find anything relating to the date on the cup, Town Hall Dover, 8 Round Boxing Contest won by R Hopper on 6th October 1919, anybody know anything about this contest.
