6-5, could be either way. None deserves a win so far.

How stupid is Perez? Point deduction last round. I have Jennings by a round. Can't see Wlad losing any sleep over either of these two.

That's what I imagine Perez-Takam would've looked like oer 12.

I had the fight even in rounds. With the one point deduction I have Jennings winning. 114-113

Though Triple G remains a heavy favorite, the odds have evened out as we inch closer to the fight:

I've never seen Jennings or Perez as a real threat to Wlad. Wilder or Fury are the two, more to do with size than anything I could possibly causing the upset.

The fighters are in the ring! Michael Buffer introduces the stiffest Golovkin challenge to date. Across from him stands the middleweight terror, looking poised as can be.

Solid odds on the fight going over 8 rounds.

Bell rings for round one. They meet in center ring as they feel each other out. Golovkin has the face of a stone-cold assassin. GGG lands two solid jabs. Geale answers back.

Solid defense by both guys in the opening round. Respect between the two. GGG catches Geale with two right hands as Geale gets a first taste of the power. Geale tastes the canvas but from a slip.

Close round with a slight edge to Golovkin who stalks his prey like a predator in the wild.

10-9 Golovkin.

Geale is cut! Replay shows Geale tripping over a camera at ringside.

Round two begins with GGG targeting the cut immediately! And he floors Geale with a vicious combination!

Geale gets up but he's on the retreat. They trade left hooks and the Aussie fights back! He looks to have recovered somewhat. Meanwhile, GGG plods forward like a hitman on a job -- meticulously with surgical precision.

Geale ends the round better but dominant round for the Kazakh.

10-8 Golovkin.

Golovkin is ready to trade left hooks. Just a matter of time when he lands.
