Sorry I meant Appleby, are you a trainer or have any idea what goes on in pro boxing? Have you ever boxed to the levels of these guys? To warrant an opinion that actually matters you have to be of any kind of importance, it's ok me having an opinion on something for say Scottish boxing but alternatively someone like billy nelson will be more in the know, your lack of respect seems bitter and why followronnie page for a laugh, suggests a

i know he is short but i dont think a novice pro who cant beat rambalala is goin to prepare him for a live oponnent troy james for the chance of a brittish title. maybe im wrong and i do try to be positve but its hard sometmesdaviddee wrote:You trying to get him banned again ha.. Why insult people behind a fake name though, everyone is entitled to an opinion and that's yours but don't sit and slate people then not disclose a name, it's just pointless, same as claims you have trained people etc there's no proof, it comes across as bitter and nothing you say is of any substance or importance

well i have been told now that jordy mccrory, scott harrison and wee simmy wont spar with him but i bet they wold fight him. after this fight wold he fightbthem? i see scott and simmy managing to beat him up and stop him but he might give jordy some poblems before bein beat on points.
Re: troy james vs ronnie clark british title eliminater
For being someone that has a clue about boxing you are clueless, Scott Harrison doesnt fight at Ronnie's weight and neither does Jordan McCrory, John Simpson yes Ronnie would fight him, Why wouldnt he? Nothing to lose everything to gain, If any of them made his weight he would fight them, hes a fighter and you clearly dont have a clue what hes like. Instead of disrespecting him and giving him his character and slating him, message him on facebook. go meet him at the gym and form an opinion of him in person, in boxing sometimes you need to call people out and make a bit of noise to be noticed,. doesnt mean hes a bad guy, hes one of the nicest guys you can meet proberly with respect for every single fighter.

Really class post from boxingcutsman earlier on and the responses from the fellas up north to it.
I started the other thread on this for the first, postponed fight and all the comments were (from what i remember) supportive of their fighter and not denigrating of the opponent which is the way it should be.
I'm behind Troy for this one so agree with boxingcutsman, Ronnie is going to be handed a L

yep absolutely, it was a classy thread for a while.....boxing brain seems to have mixed things up a bit but oh well.
Back on topic...good luck to both lads, I am only aware of Ronnie due to this site so I always now look out for his fights and results...

Re: troy james vs ronnie clark british title eliminater
you need to take what you can get sparring wise unless your a top boy and can dish outs some cash
plenty of pros spar amateurs , its all about getting the rounds in and working on some moves , keeping sharp
Ronnie has to travel alot so need take what he can get withing the time he has to Train.
Also some promotors / managers dont allow there boxers to work with certain people either , well at least that used to be the case in scotland anyway.
Boxing Brains clearly has it in for Ronnie

It's obvious you don't know what your talking about!! All of the sparring this week has been top class, I know because I'm there everyday unlike you!! If you really want an opinion on the sparring maybe you should come to Lochend tomorrow and watch it 1st hand!
And just to correct you on a few points, I personally asked Peter Harrison for sparring with both Jordan and Scott but Peter said no!!! And Ronnie asked Paul Weir today for sparring with John Simpson because he was looking for sparring partners but they once again declined.
We can't spar with them if they don't want to spar!! At least the guys at Lochend will help others when it comes to upcoming fights.
Thanks to all the guys at Lochend for the help!
Re: troy james vs ronnie clark british title eliminater
Best of luck to both lads tough fight to call as ive never seen ronnie box. For the reason troy beat chris id like to see him win and get a shot at the british title. Nothing against ronnie. Who ever loses can come again. Should b a good fight.
Re: troy james vs ronnie clark british title eliminater
Did Ronnie's lot enjoy there night out in Cov after the first fight was postponed? Saw a picture on Twitter of some, err, interesting choice of clothing.

Well always remember! The only way I will lose is a hometown decision! I hope it's not the case as it's not good for the sport ;) Roll on September 27th...
Make it fair, make it right.

Re: troy james vs ronnie clark british title eliminater
It won't go points... Been watching Ronnie's sparring he's staying in the pocket and it will be a war.. Already had 2 hometown draws against him not leaving this one for the scorecards. I change my prediction. Ronnie will KO Troy quite early both will sit and trade. Troy will be down a few timesfreddydoesdallas wrote:Ronnie Clark wrote:Well always remember! You're more than entitled to that opinion billy. I meant it more in the way that there's fans of both fighters on here so I just hope that Ronnie's fans get the consolation of losing to a future British champ!billy nelson wrote:just my opinion but I think neither troy or Ronnie are going to win the british anytime soonfreddydoesdallas wrote:Ronnie Clark wrote:Well always remember!
