Cast Iron Guarantee

Post by Crease »

And just for quick clarification, Julio Cesar Chavez is the Mandatory Challenger this week for the WBO Title. This fight is a guaranteed shot for him unless he refuses it and decides to fight for a different World Title this week. Either way, he is guaranteed a World Title shot this week.

You see the beauty of being a Mandatory Challenger?

Joe Gans, former WBC champ, calls out any title holder or top contender who thinks he can cut the mustard.

Battling Nelson is ready for anyone in the top 15...

First of all, it's "cut the muster"......so GBP will ignore any fighter who boasts about "cutting the mustard". Since anyone from a fast food background can do that. And we imagine Joe "fast food" Gans just might be able to as well.

However....it concerns us that you boast, and you will not back it up. So...to prove this.....Pernell Whitaker accepts Battling Nelsons' Challenge.
After you instruct your man to back down....we will move on to a more credible, and relevant challenge.

Jose Luis Castillo, does not like anyone else who dares to share his first and second name.

SO.....He will face anyone who happens to be walking around calling themselves Jose Luis......

This of course Includes Jose Luis Ramirez.

Cutting the mustard means to live up to lofty expectations, I know you work from a bastardised version of my native tongue but your assertion is simply foolish and transparently idiotic.

Refrain from taking your Old Masters name in vain. If Pernell wants a match then, maybe, just maybe, Gans will choose to beat him a third time. Oscar Nelson has had his fill of Slippery Petes pitty pats and deep squatting.

I see Ross already has a fight set, so perhaps Leonard will give Duran a chance to get his belt back?
