Round 4 Pascal looked like he was on his way out. Round 5 and 6, Pascal is surviving and countering like a champ. He's having two perfect rounds in a row to get all the way back in the game.

it only work because he has good chin and heart, willing to take punch to score wide punch that look good for the judge

I think the big question here is does Pascal have the gas in the tank, he's actually fought fairly well in the last two rounds while Kovalev has looked ordinary.

Kovalev won the 6th these judges are just being kind. Human nature to score a close round for the underdog. He didnt win it tho.

Unfortunately for Pascal is that Kovalev fights with both hands , Pascal is basically a one handed fighter

Round 7 to Kovalev

Pascal took a decent shot right at the bell.
Pascal looks like he may slow while Kovalev is steady the whole way through.
Kovalev round.

Kovalev was blasted with more clean shots than a 47 year old Hopkins was.

Stoppage. That was bloody impressive from Kovalev. Pascal doesn't get beaten up. I think that puts Kovalev among the P4P elite. Don't know who is going to beat him.

Pascal was getting hammered in round 8, but the ref stopped the fight at the most quizzical time. Very weird stoppage.

Certainly not Stephenson. Only guy who beats him right now is Ward if he goes to light heavy.

Kovalev is mean and a very powerful patient fighter.
Pascal had a moment or two but this Russian is good.
Congrats Sergey very impressive again.

It was a good stoppage. Do you hate Pascal or something? lol. Any more and you're risking serious damage.

He has too much power for Ward IMO. Can't see the fight happening anyway to be honest.

Nothing wrong with the stoppage, if you haven't seen it yet just look at Pascal after the knockdown he literally staggered across the ring on rubber legs and the referee gave him another chance until Kovalev steamed into him.
Completely legit and above board.
