Beterbiev will beat him after 2 more years of seasoning. No doubt in my mind. Beterbiev hits harder than Kovalev and is a tougher fighter.

Certainly not Stephenson. Only guy who beats him right now is Ward if he goes to light heavy.

He has too much power for Ward IMO. Can't see the fight happening anyway to be honest.
He wouldn't get to Ward. Defensively Ward is one of the best out there. Wouldn't be much of a spectacle, but I'd take Ward to beat him on points.

Great fight.

I really don't have a problem with that early stoppage. Was it early? Sure. But I'm 99.5% sure that Pascal was just going to sit on that corner some more and take more dangerous shots. The ref saved him some brain cells.

IMO - and that's all it is - Kovalev is a different level altogether to Beterbiev. (and before you say it I'm talking about NOW as a pro not in the amateurs).

It was a good stoppage. Do you hate Pascal or something? lol. Any more and you're risking serious damage.
Yes Good stoppage. While Kovy was on the canvas after a slip, we could se Pascal with no legs

What an awesome fight. Good stoppage too. I like Pascal and I didn't want to see him hurt, but he was done. He doesn't deserve a rematch. Winning a round or two doesn't warrant that.

Kovalev has a great left hand , the jab and left hook are scary powerful . Very fluid when moving forward .

Pascal took a lot of damage this fight - I'd tell him to retire .

Good scrap .

I disagree especially at light heavy. Ward will have to take on a bigger man with superb ring craft who hits like a hammer. He'd have a better chance if Kovalev moved down and was weight drained but at light heavy, I can't see Ward winning.

   You got to be kidding. Ward will get destroyed. He has nothing to keep Kovalev off of him.

A mention for Pascal, what a tough, hard guy. Respect. I'd like to see him fight Stevenson.

I'd love to see Ward v Kovalev now.
Skill goes to Ward but Kovalev is unquestionably one of the biggest punchers in the sport today and his boxing ability isn't too shabby, it almost seems like every shot he throws has power on it.

I think that we will see Kovalev vs Beterbiev really soon, because there is not too many people left in the division who have even slim chances of beating Kovalev.

I wouldn't mind seeing anyone v Ward NOW. Is he still an active fighter or has he retired?

Stevenson has a chance against anyone if he lands that left hand but if Kovalev avoids that he beats Stevenson without much trouble.

The ref stopped the fight with one sec left in the round lol Might as well should of let the round end and have the corner do a RTD.

like adonis only has 1 punch. you do realise that adonis is more athletic and equaly skilled and equaly strong as kovalev?

Hopkins went 12 with Kovalev. It's all opinion, but for me Ward is a brilliant fighter with a style that would be all wrong for Kovalev. Unlikely to happen anyway.

Stephenson has a punchers chance, but I'd see Kovalev stopping him very early.
