Dave Ryan has made a fan out of me I have to admit. Really hope he has earned well from these fights he has had on Sky.

How did Ted Cheeseman get on earlier?
Re: London O2 Sept 12th RBR
Same here more fights for him on Sky after this though.jameswilson wrote:Dave Ryan has made a fan out of me I have to admit. Really hope he has earned well from these fights he has had on Sky.

Kicked off in the crowd.
Re: London O2 Sept 12th RBR
This will sound preposterous but the only thing I can think of as an example is Barkley-Hearns. I've been looking at their respective records and on paper Hibbert is supposed to be the 'contender'. Two of his 3 loses are to Ryan (the other is in a prizefighter 3 rounder). Ryan record suggests journeyman. But Hibbert has lost both fights and it's obviously got under his skin for him to be taking Ryan on a third time.
Probably all boxers experience this, someone you know isn't as good as you but you have trouble with, even if it's just in the gym. I feel for Hibbert.

Excellent. One of my old colleagues knows his family - from clips of his I've seen he looks like a good come-forward fighter.jameswilson wrote:His opponent melted. Cheeseman had himdookus wrote:How did Ted Cheeseman get on earlier?

Ryan's back gone.
Re: London O2 Sept 12th RBR
So Ryan was winning easy then his back goes then tagged then IJL waved it off.
Re: London O2 Sept 12th RBR
Hibbert going nuts with a bullshit excuse of a win
Re: London O2 Sept 12th RBR
Looked like it was caused by Hibbert wrestling him in the clinch, which is a foul so he shouldn't actually win the fight.blanca wrote:Hibbert going nuts with a bullshit excuse of a win

No other option than to stop it

Re: London O2 Sept 12th RBR
The injury wasn't due to a foul. It seems clear to me there was no way Ryan would get to the end, he then takes a big shot and keels forward. Not being funny but I'm unsure what I'd do if I was the red. I mean you can't go to the scorecards? Or is that what should have been done?Naandrew wrote:So Ryan was winning easy then his back goes then tagged then IJL waved it off.

IJL panicking again, he's definitely thick & can't think on his feet, he was frantically flapping & counting & not even checking if Ryan was hurt or not...or what was wrong with him.
Re: London O2 Sept 12th RBR
Boy he's loving it! He can't beat this guy but he's got the win and that's enough.

Re: London O2 Sept 12th RBR
I bet Ryan doesnt get an immediate rematch - he schooled Hibbert, what a shamw.

Ryan got buzzed by a massive right hand at the end but youve got to feel sorry for him, looked like the lower back,if IJL jumped in straight away when he was in distress i wouldnt have complained but Dave was still throwing back until he took that 1 shot then IJL stopped it,he was boxing well all night too, shame
Credit to Hibbert he was pretty poor tonight but did great to get up from that bodyshot and never stopped trying,i feel for Ryan though
4th fight it is then
