You said cutting weight, you did not mention what technique. And its not about diet, gaining Lb off-season has a purpose in track and field and that is to gain power when doing powerlifting (Thats what we do to increase leg power, squats-snatches etc) Then I cut down weight trying to MAINTAIN the power..
cutting weight means losing water and re hydrating.

of course any athlete might cut down Body fat at some time, but a 175 boxer that cuts might weigh about 185 or more at fight night. most Sprinters would be about MW to LHWs in boxing.

I'm no biologist but i don't think thats 100% accurate. As a user of the internet i've come across the odd image or video of a massive gaping rectum in my time and have a hard time believing they don't retract. Otherwise the feaces would just drop out.
Sweet Jesus.... How on earth does a thread go from boxers' sprint times to gapeing anuses???!!

Cutting weight means LOSING POUNDS, it doesnt necessarily mean to lose water and then re hydrate.. U Generally said "Sprinters dont cut weight" As if we stay the same pounds all the season..

I understand what you mean, but you should have said Sprinters dont LOSE WATER. Thats corrent and that what you meant.

Cheers :TU:
