Timothy Bradley's Luck Runs Out Nov. 7th

Post by caldo2025 »

Timothy Bradley has never ducked an opponent or failed to entertain us on his way to becoming a surefire HOF boxer but I think that his luck runs out against Brandon Rios. I think that the accumulation of damage he's collected from these wars he's battled finally shows and he really struggles in this fight. That, along with partnering up with a new trainer that hasn't trained an elite boxer in 20 years. I don't like it.

If this fight happened three years ago and i'd be saying that this fight is a mismatch in TB's favor. But a lot has happened in three years and Brandon Rios is a much better fighter right now. He's developed better head movement and it's also improved his offense output and counter punching while not getting hit as much as he used to.

I see this as a tough night for TB. What do you all think about this fight?

Tim would need to regress alot more than what he actual has to lose to Rios. Rios is a lesser version of Provodnikov.

Tim's had enough time out the ring and is the hardest worker in boxing. I like him for the 120-108.

Agree with you, Ricky.

Can't forget how easy Pacquiao handled Rios in Macau.

I haven't watched Bradley's last two fights, but this talk surprises me. Rios is gonna expose him? Bradley can probably dodge every single punch rios throws if he chooses to.

If Bradley is as dumb as in Chaves or half of Provodnikov fight, he can get in trouble. He may be nearing his limit of hard head shots.

If he boxes, he wins a dominant decision.

I'm a huge fan of Bradley so this isn't an opinion based in bias, I've just been reading a lot about Rios's improvements and it was surely evident in that debacle against Alvarado. Mike Alvarado clearly didn't have his head on straight for that fight but that doesn't detract from how great Rios looked that night.

After the beating he took from Manny and horrible showing against Chaves, Rios focused on defense and I think it's really going to help him.

I refuse to get trolled. No one in their right mind would pick Brandon Rios to defeat Timothy Bradley, so I don't believe OP is picking him either.

Rios stinks.

Bradley wins this fight. Easily. May not lose a round. Probably won't. Rios is slow and rudimentary. He doesn't have the one punch power of Provo either.

No. He doesn't. Rios is not a 147 lb fighter. He's nowhere near Bradley's class.

I would be very surprised if Rios won this fight. Much more likely is him being totally schooled by Tim. Bradley wont allow Brandon to get away with all that illegal crap he pulled on Chavez.

Rios has cement feet and average handspeed; Bradley will dance all night around him.

Bradley should win this easily. Rios is a punchbag for anybody above gatekeeper level.

I will definitely be throwing a few dollars on Rios if the line looks good for the fight. I think that both Rios and Bradley lost to Chaves similarly. I know that Chaves got DQ'd but I had him up in that fight as well. I think that is is going to be a lot closer than everyone thinks. No troll here just an honest opinion. Just look at the like opponent and you will see that this might be close.

Rios is not on Bradley's level. He's lucky the fight with Brook never happened, Brook would have battered him. Bradley will out box him comfortably.

I just watched both of their media workouts. Like day and night. I half question if Rios is coming for a mere payday. I see his lazy ass raped, with 12 round utter domination by Bradley.

like he did to herrera, algieri, and matthysse?
alvarado almost got ko'd and then ran the 2nd half of the 2nd rios fight to steal a decision
rios didn't know he was losing, and got blasted out the other two times, and i'm not even
sure we can say provo did a better job on alvarado than rios did. provo put up a brave
fight against a careless bradley, and came back from a beating to make the fight with
matthysse competitive. matthysse has since been proven very mortal. i would much
rather see provo v rios than rios v bradley, but looking at all the beatings provo has taken
(including from bradley) rios might send provo to the convalescent home. rios is a much
better boxer than provo and would t off on him all night and let's not pretend rios can't
drop provo after seeing provo dropped several times before.

Provodnikov walked right through Matthysse. Fair enough he lost but lost because Matthysse was outgunned and ran. Rios doesn't have that diversity. He'd take a beating from hell from Provodnikov.

He did beat Herrera and Algieri ... There is no point to compare ring dummy Rios with these two guys anyway.
