It's very weird how Ward has screwed up his career.

Good list as usual (I never got why some people hate on your lists).

I would have Rigo even lower, although you have one of the better placements of him; I still see many rankings with him in or close to the top 5. It won't be long before the Donaire win was two years ago, his resume isn't particularly strong outside that, he's fought weak opposition lately, and he was recently put down twice by someone who I don't think P4P elite guys should be going down against.

Rigondeaux's win against Donaire is coming up for 3 years ago now.

Rigondeaux's record isn't that great and I don't think he's really anything special between the ropes either.

I like horses lists, like any, they will always differ from mine and everyone elses.
But on the whole, they're pretty good and he makes a a good case for why he moves people around.

But I just like disagreeing because he's a stubborn SOB and very hard to budge once he's made his mind up. It keeps us amused

I don't take him at his word.

2. (2.) Roman Gonzalez TOO HIGH

The Ring, TBRB, ESPN all have Gonzalez at No. 1.

I don't think that he is far and away clearly better than Golovkin and Kovalev, but for me and a lot of people he just edges them right now.

13. (11.) Guillermo Rigondeaux TOO LOW

He hasn't done anything good in two years.

20. (20.) Keith Thurman TOO HIGH

His record has a lot of decent names on it and he has beaten most of them fairly easily.

He lacks any big wins, but I think his record and talent are enough for him to squeak into the top 20.

21. (24.) Erislandy Lara TOO HIGH

A lot of people thought he deserved the decision against Alvarez last year (not me). He has a solid record and he's a skilled fighter.

24. (NE.) James DeGale TOO HIGH

I think his recent form is enough for him to claim his place. Those below him have generally been on poor form, inactive or have only just arrived at world level.

28. (28.) Mauricio Herrera TOO HIGH

Most people thought he deserved the decisions against Garcia and Benavidez in recent fights. I think he deserves a place on the list.

Heavyweights are never likely to appear as graceful or skilled as lightweights, they've got a lot of weight to shift around.

You give Crawford a 6' 4" and 230 lbs body and see how he fights.

Fury is the best at his weight, with a much better win than Crawford has ever got.

Crawford has also been fighting relatively rubbish opposition since moving to light welterweight and he might be a bit of a hypejob.
