Isn't that the forum this thread should be in?
Someone I know saw Tua a few weeks ago in Opunake, and said he looked to be 150kg (330lbs), and didn't even get into the ring with his boxer. Kinda sad.

He is pending release and deportation. At 41 it is not inconceivable that he gets back in the ring, but probably not at the level he looked like he was capable of before he went nuts. In all likelihood he will get sent back to Nigeria and into more legal trouble.
Last I heard he was 300 plus pounds
Wikipedia says he probably can't ever walk "normal" again after a carcrash, sad to see his life getting ruined like this, he probably had potential to become one of the biggers boxers ever.

You really shouldn't read this topic over and over..
He was very good. He lost all his money.
Now he has weight issues.

I loved watching him fight in his prime. The Ruiz KO and the Ikeabuchi fight still holds the record for the most punches thrown in a heavyweight fight, but lets move this discussion over to the Boxers of the past forum.
(yeah - i got the rat thing)

I remember reading an article that stated Tua drinks 7 Starbucks coffees a day.

Now that's a lot of coffee!

It's good to hear he was making an effort, but he was still a good 20lb over his best fighting weight for the Lewis fight.
