Neither was Kiko for LSC. Hence, the total lack of interest.

Leo and Hitman Jr are both due for a challenge. LSC should go to the United Kingdom for Selby or Frampton. Crawford v Postol is what we all want to see, I think.

The Kiko Martinez vs Leo Santa Cruz fight was fun as hell

I missed it all yesterday. Will catch it all online somewhere today.

The lack of interest for either fight is pretty obvious though. Nearly zero mention, let alone discussion.

Crawford is very impressive fighter and he seems an intelligent and level headed man. Lundy did his best and did what he could to try and unsettle Crawford - he's got to take his chance and he played his part and earned his dough.

Crawford shouldn't be wasting his time with fighters like Lundy.

Crawford beating these guys easily is not impressive.

I would certainly hope both Crawford and Santa Cruz are in against tougher opponents next time out.

He is a league above everyone outside of the elite. I think it's better him keeping sharp and building his local base and the watching public, it's far better him boxing 3 times a year than once.

Beating these guys is impressive, it keeps him sharp, focused and shows he has a good temperament. The big fights will appear for him. If he refused the fights that were there and waited for a big fight he'd be called a diva. He's clearing up, similar to Golovkin at middleweight.

Not much to criticize with Crawford but he does need bigger challenges.

Crawford isn't clearing up at all.

He hasn't fought one top light welterweight yet. They've all been B-level, fringe contenders.

He did very well at lightweight, but he's been a dud at light welterweight. His last two opponents were lightweights he dragged up.

Pretty lame for a supposed top P4P contender.

What I want to see is Crawford - Broner. Crawford should go to Broner's next fight and do a "Tyson Fury" styled ring invasion and publicly call out Broner.
It would make Haymon's blood boil lol

Being only his 3rd fight at the weight, I don't see what the big deal is. I thought fighting Dulorme as his first fight at the weight was going a bit too fast, but that's my opinion. Both Jean and Dulorme only had one loss. Remember he would be fighting Pacquiao next if he was chosen, so he doesn't shy from big fights. I am also hopeful he fights Postol next, but if not Matthysse or Broner (if Haymon allows it)

He's a P4P level guy.

He shouldn't have to be so cautious in a fairly weak division.

He's basically had the last year off, because the guys he's been beating have added very little to his record.

Frampton/quigg is a waste of time. Lsc/kiko was very good. I liked that Hank, realizing he was on the short end of the skills, went for it.

He fights who he can. You'd be happier if he sat for 2 or 3 years and said "I'd rather not feed my family than face fringe contenders"?

This is the best that he can fight?

I doubt it.

I wouldn't call it much better. You do understand there is a network/ promoter thing going on? Boxing sucks right now.

Ricky Burns, Yuriorkis Gamboa & Raymundo Beltran is a much better run than Thomas Dulorme, Dierry Jean & Henry Lundy.

I don't care about the excuses. Crawford's recent opposition has been pretty poor for a guy of his calibre, who should be looking to become a star.

If he steps up now and fights the better guys in the division then it doesn't really matter, but I don't want to see any more of these mundane opponents.

I don't get the criticism, Horse. Crawford wanted Pac, Postol and The Provoglodyte. They didn't want him. If Crawford was euro and Pac, Postol and The Provoglodyte were North Americans, certain tough guys here would be accusing them of being pussies and cowards :OhYes:
