Don King was taking from boxers, Haymon is stealing from investment bankers and is paying fighters very well.
In fact you could look at Haymon as a Robin Hood-type figure, although clearly he will be getting paid as well so isn't some pure altruism.
PBC had the potential to really be something awesome for the fans. Unfortunately, next to the hedge fund managers they are the people haymon cares least about.

It's never the bankers who suffer when the losses are tallied up, often it's the poor bastard who's pension fund is sitting in it.
Waddell & Reed stock has dropped form about $50 a share to $20 a share in the last 12 months. Now, I have no idea what Haymon's terms are with this group, but this is at least interesting. Floyd's guaranteed massive paydays surely haven't helped Haymon's business, as I'm sure he believed that some of this money would be recycled back, through his partnership with Mayweather Promotions- which hasn't quite taken off. It will be interesting to see if Haymon's plan is sustainable.
