I just think he'll look daft trying a lead treble uppercut on Saunders. The last few opponents have made him look good.

this is the very same nuclear-powered uppercut, thrown at sitting duck targets, that have some people crediting CEJ with some kind of ghost of a chance against fkin Golovkin, FFS?

I feel like the outcome of any rematch between Jr and BJS would be different than the first match. Even if BJS won the fight again, Jr would not start as slow as he did last time out. Also one thing which would massively work in Jr's favour would be that Sr was not in charge of mid round pep talks. The first half dozen rounds he gave almost no constructive advice which meant second half of the fight Jr was left chasing it.

Jr is one of the fittest guys on the circuit, and should back himself to go hard for 12 rounds. I think if he does that, he wins. I just feel like he has another 20% in his performance tank, whereas BJS was close to threshold (as in he fought a very good fight). Could BJS step up another gear too? I suspect not.

I wouldn't take too much from the Blackwell fight, we're talking about a different calibre of fighter here.

Totally agree mate , Jnr only looks great against fighters that are there to be found , BJS is not one of them guys .
I always feel BJS is holding back in his fights ,like he got another gear but just does enough to win .

Cant believe people are attributing Jnr losing the first 6 rounds to starting slow  ....of course what BJS was doing had little to do with that

I don't think Jr gifted the rounds to BJS, but he didn't take them away from him either. BJS was very crafty, and did what was necessary to win the rounds. I think that demonstrates ring intelligence, which perhaps Jr lacks. Even when Jr stepped on the peddle, BJS didn't panic, and continued to box his game. I don't think anyone denies BJS deserved to win the fight, but if Jr went hard from the off in any rematch, I doubt BJS could follow it for 12 rounds.

For me BJS won that fight convincingly , he outboxed him easilly for the first 6 and outsmarted him for the last 6 ,, however that was then , and if Jnr had any success in that fight it was finding out Billys weakness and thats his stamina , ,, For a world champ Saunders stamina is woeful and its not going to change he likes the good life to much , how often do you here him say i've got money Franks paid me well , i could retire tomoro ,, he says that more than he says i want Canelo , i want all the belts

Saunders style is based on moving , he is always going to expend more energy , but look at him now , fat out of condition half his trainingcamp is losing weight ,and getting in condition .

To beat him Eubank is never ever going to have the skills to outbox him , its going to be about stamina , and next time round Chris will make him work a lot harder in the first half making him gas and slow down even more. I can't see Eubank getting in the ring with either Saunders or GGG for at least 18 months ,, and BJS will probably of lost his title by then .. GGG will hammer him and i think the canadian Lemeroux will beat him too ,, Jacobs is 50-50 and Canelo beats him if that ever happens .

Even someone with good stamina will likely have less in their tank if they start faster rather than slower. Maybe Eubank doing more early would allow BJS to win sone more rounds late. Maybe not.
You have not watched Eubank's last few fights or you are blinded by your support for Saunders and your argument is not sound, at all, most people felt that Eubank posed too much in the early rounds, then had to go for it, when he realized that he was behind, he don't make that mistake now i.e Chudinov, Blackwell and Spike, it is common sense, not speculation, were as Saunders has not showed since, that his stamina has improved, i.e the Lee fight.
I think you're the one blinded here if you think Eubanks looking good & having stamina against opponents the quality of Chudinov, Blackwell and Spike is any reflection of how a rematch with BJS will go.

A BJS rematch would be closer I think but Saunders still starts favourite.

The gulf in experience is the difference between them imo. Eubank Jnr probably has more natural talent but only the truly special can take up the sport relatively late at such a weight and scale the heights. He's achieved a lot considering he took the sport up late. Saunders on the other hand has obviously been boxing to a high level for donkeys. He was an awesome junior and was in the Olympics at 18! Eubank Jnr probably never even had a bout at that stage.

Saunders is a much smarter fighter.

Agree Saunders is a LOT smarter fighter , he's also a much better fighter , he trumps Eubank in every dept , except stamina , it will prove his downfall , I don't know if its the lifestyle he leads or the training regime he has , but in the Eubank fight he gassed against a virtual novice compared to himself ,, but his experience and better skills came through... Jnr has turned the rematch down twice from what BJS says ,, which tells you they are binding there time , for what , it can only be to gain experience and improve , look at jnr's conditioning and look at Billy joe changing nothing .

The next time round it will be a different fight ,, you can bet jnr is learning to close his opponent down , apply pressure and stretch BJS to the limit in the early rounds , Will he win , I don't know but it will certainly be closer next time .. IF there is a next time
