Prior to the Cuadras fight, I would've said Gonzalez, but it's close. After the Cuadras fight, I would say with some degree of confidence that Gonzalez has to be the favorite.

Inoue will destroy Gonzalez. I have absolutely no doubt about it. That come forward style of Gonzalez will get him KTFO against Inoue. He will walk into a devastating left hook at some point in the fight.

I seriously doubt that the 11-0 Inoue will destroy Gonzalez. Based on what? I just can't see it. Good fight.....Gonzalez won't lose to Inoue.

Inoue is more naturally gifted than Cuadras with a significant power advantage. Gonzalez would need to perform much better than he did last night if he were to go against Inoue. Inoue would sit on his punches more than Cuadras did and eventually wear Gonzalez down and out.

I think it would be a fantastic fight and I love that HBO showed Inoue in the crowd and discussed the fight during the broadcast. Let's get it on!

I have seen Gonzalez fight plenty of times.

Gonzalez looked small in his fourth division. Gonzalez won against Cuadras with volume punching, his power didn't seem to have much effect against the bigger fighter. I think the fight against Cuadras put a lot more mileage on Gonzalez.

So If Cuadras is number two and Inoue is number one..I'm going to have to catch up on you tube to see Inoue fight.

About as good a fight as can be made in boxing. Inoue takes it for me, possibly stopping Gonzalez late.

11-0 or 34-0. You could've said the same prior to his fight against 46 fight Narvaez.

I would also pick Inoue in this one but it's a very tough pick. In terms of accomplishments you would naturally go for Gonzalez but in terms of their attributes I would choose Inoue. I think Inoue would win via late stoppage.

TBH, I don't watch the little guys much because there is so little competition at their weights. I did notice he had a couple seconds and bronze medals before turning pro. Its not like he is accomplished like a Rigo or Lomo in olympic competition. Carry on, I don't give a shit, and won't watch footage on something I don't care about. Gonzalez, I have watched, and have been impressed with.

I would say the exact opposite.

Would have favored Gonzalez over Inoue at flyweight or below, but at
super fly? Inoue all the way.

Out of interest...wheres this "little competition" argument come from? 112 and 115 are pretty deep at the moment-
112-Ioka, Estrada, Casimero, Nietes, Kogawa, Yodmongkol, Reveco, Viloria, Arroyo, Waseem, Rdoriguez, Guevara, Saludar, Higa
115-Inoue, Cuadras, Gonalez, Kono, Concepcion, Ancajas, Arroyo, Srisaket, Tete, Ishida, Eto

They have been a bit fluid at times (with Yaegashi for example at 112, 108 and dipping his toes at 115, and Takuma Inoue moving up from 115 recently) but they have consistently been deep over he last decade.

He doesn't like or watch them. Therefore the fighters aren't good.

Please let this fight happen

Roman is an ATG, but I wonder if perhaps he'd be more effective at a lower weight. His power didn't seem nearly as great last night and the shots from Cuadras were really marking him up. I think in Inoue we may have finally gotten someone who has enough to best Roman, although I know very respectable posters who don't think Inoue is technically developed enough to have a good shot of winning.

I'd love to see this

There's no doubt. The higher he goes in weight, the less successful he'll be.

Inoue is favourite for me, why? Because he is still young, if they fight next year he will be able to cut the weight without issues while in the ring he will be huge if we compare him with Chocolatito. I don't think Chocolatito has power enough in this division or skills to beat Inoue.

I feel that Roman has already beaten the top guy at 115 in Cuadras. Since Inoue moved up he beat a aging champ. Then feasted on Carmona and Parennas who should not have been highly ranked. I still feel Naoya is green and Roman would impose his will on him. The fight I want to see is Roman vs Estrada in the Flyweight unification rematch.

i'd be interested to see Estrada's natural weight as opposed to Gonzalez's. I woulnd't mind betting Estrada is actually a bigger man than Roman. i think Estrada may be a good style to give Inoue a damn good fight, too.

I'd say that's almost certain. Roman is ranked where he is p4p because he's a smaller fighter going up against bigger men and winning.
